Reviving old topic with a double post Anyways, I got the new map pack and.... well it's alright. Out of all the maps, my favorite is the ASIAN map: Kowloon (the one with the zip lines) *no bias here teeheeheee* The others are growing on me... It's not that their bad maps its just everyone is trying to get used to them and they all are camping so its the people that are making the new maps unenjoyable. Sorry guys, I'm gonna have to hate here. I loved Modern Warfare, and I actually loved Modern Warfare 2. Getting nukes, running around with the UMP, spamming Predator-Harrier-Chopper Gunner. All awesome. Black Ops, however, just lacked most things for me. I played it and felt like I had no real incentive to continue. For a long time, getting a nuke was my ultimate CoD goal, and once I'd achieved that, it was getting 10. I then made an account trying to score as high a KDR as I could, which was quite fun. With Black Ops I just felt there wasn't anything to achieve other than levelling, which upset me quite a bit.
Give it another chance.. I actually like it now o.o Go back to MW2 for a day.. you'll soon learn to like BOps XD
Haha, I just might. I'll say one thing about Black Ops though, I do jump the Nuketown bandwagon, because that map is just fun. Flawed, but hilariously fun.
It's still not that great, compared to the plethora of difficult titles and challenges in Modern Warfare 2.
I went back to MW2 and everyone who plays now either: -Hacks -Marathon Lightweight Commando -OMA Tube (I used to but its no fun anymore since I got used to Black Ops) -British kids (No offense UK people, but they're no fun to play with) -Lame teammates who suck at quickscoping and still try to anyways Black Ops is far more balanced, which is why it may seem monotonous but I'm still enjoying it.
I'll be perfectly honest, I can't agree more. I got myself a copy of CoD4 a few days back, and I think that game just takes the cake, over MW2 and Black Ops.

Don't have maps yet.. gonna get them in about an hours time EDIT: Oh great.. I purchased it. and now its gonna take forever to download And I've been charged twice for it... Now I gotta ring customer care and get it credited back.. DAMNIT! So at the moment, these maps have cost me $22.95 x2 ($45.90!!) Edit 2: Okay so after 10minutes.. I got through to someone. Apparently they're experiencing difficulties and this is a known issue. "Just wait a few days to see if it corrects itself". Too bad if I needed that $23 for something. I want free downloads damnit! So anyone else on PSN - don't download map maps yet. My impressions: STADIUM CAN KISS MY ASS! I hate it.. Aint played berlin wall yet. But the other two I so far don't mind.
stadium is tolerable, i dont mind it. kowloon is probably my fav. discovery is meh berlin wall is a camp fest - retarded.
SHameless bumping of this post: Does anyone play this anymore? Seems all the good players left. I just played like 20 games tonight and went at least a 5 k/d on all of them with at least 25 kills per game. LOL I still play... Not as often. Don't seem to have the time much anymore. I still prestige 6 I've got a few clips of my game play recently with some lucky shots/streaks. Just needa play it back and record it on my PVR (once I work out how too...) and then upload it for you Charlie.
