I watch A LOT of cartoons, probably more than normal shows... Even the normal shows aren't typically reality based, so they are basically catoonish shows, just not drawn.

Cartoons are for all ages, ANY OF THEM :D If you like it, watch it!

Haha- well I'm not an adult yet- but I love cartoons!! They're so much fun!^^ Besides they even make cartoons for adults (South Park, Family Guy, plus a lot of anime is 18+). I'll definatly still be watching cartoons when I'm 50... hopefully...

Anyone can watch cartoons! They are awesome!
Ah, I miss the days of waking up early on Saturday to see your favorite cartoons. Now I stay up late to watch the less kid-friendly ones :D
Cartoons are for any and all ages.

Ahh, you just brought back memories... But it seems like the cartoons now are better than they used to be, or is it just me?

Here's a question to you; should it matter what people think? If you get enjoyment out of it why stop because of some social "norm"?

Cartoons are just part of another genre of TV shows / movies. I think it's the person's tastes that matter, and not age. It's more of tastes changing with age, but it does not mean that age determines one's tastes. It's very much subjective, and yes, we cannot leave it to societal norms.

Family guy and south park are meant for a older audience 15+ there is no age limit for people to watch a show, just like theres no age limit to play neopets

I agree with everyone else - South Park, Family Guy, Simpsons, etc. are geared towards a more mature audience, while Spongebob and whatever kids shows are still out there are geared more towards young kids. I think it would be weird for a middleaged person to be watching Spongebob religiously, unless it was with a child.
Some kinds of cartoons are classic though - Tom and Jerry, Loony Tunes, etc. I sill love those (<3 Boomerang) ^_^

LOL My thoughts exactly. I also like Simpsons, south park, family guy etc. I had younger nephews too so I like the oddparents and a few spongebob episodes make me laugh. Odd parents is hilarious though.

You can't get past the classic cartoons like Angry Beavers, Rocko's Modern Life, Aaah! Real Monsters and Rugrats. I still look them up on youtube from time to time, just for nostalgia's sake. I do like Spongebob though. Always good for a laugh.

I miss Dragon Ball Z :( Toasted TV sucks, bring back Cheez TV (Australian TV FTW)

I cant watch dragonball anymore, I used to be an addict but now if I watch an episode it ruins the memories I had of it

before: awsome super sayins saving the planet lots of fighting and action and 900 hour conversations while they are fighting

today: flashy people in odd cloths not fighting going into weird forms and boring the hell out of me....oh look a fat pink thing fighting the asian looking monkeys

Wow, am I the only person who still watches Disney here? ;o

I'm a huge Disney fan, and I think that will still be the case when I enter adulthood.
I'm 16, so I guess I'm still not an adult?

Anyway, yeah, watching cartoons when you're an adult is perfectly fine. It's entertainment after all. The entertainment is subjective.

IMO, 'Cartoons' are for kids, but animated movies are for all ages. Especially Miyazaki, etc.
