The problem with cloning is that when your are first formed your dna is essentially perfect. However as your cells divide they generally make a mistake of 1 in 1 billion base pairs however since you have 6 billion base pairs this means roughly 6 mistakes every cell division. This means that if they clone an adult who's cells have divided millions of times the new baby will start of with imperfect dna and therefore will have a shorter life span. This is why they shouldnt clone humans currently, if there is a way to clone individual organs then sure but its more complicated than that.
I think there's something people aren't understanding... they can clone body parts w/o cloning an entire person for medical purposes.... they aren't just gonna go around making clones to kill to harvest body parts.... btw the FDA of the united states just approved cloned meat... like beef.... just don't expect to see it on the store shelves for a while b/c it's still very expensive to make
