College is way easier than high school. My cousin calls me complaining whenever she has some kind of project due but it's really her own fault because she procrastinates. I take a lot of AP classes and I've passed some AP tests so I have a ton of college credits already. College is gonna be a breeze for me.
A lady came to our school and she said that some people have like 2 hrs of classes a day, but then they get tonnes of work to do outside of class and then there's classes where you in school for like 10hrs a day and then you don't get a lot of homework I think it's all the same. But generally harder than high school, they give us homework and so much crap to do in high school so we learn how to do it on our own...in college I don't think the professors are gonna give a shit if you do your homework, but if you fail it's your own fault.
My cousin goes to a college (swarthmore) where pretty much everyone fails and a B is something to strive for (No One gets straight A's) he was a 4.0 student all his life and suddenly got a bad grade and I was like  Jesus not going there!
Currently 5.0 because AP classes give you an extra point in your GPA so instead of 4.0 if you get all As you get 5.0
That is what I am planning on doing for highschool. Currently, 7th grade doesn't matter, but I still have As. At least I think I do. In 7th grade, we have Es, S+s, Ss, S-s, and Us. I have all Es(90%+), except for spanish were I have a 88%, or S+. EDIT: Not to show off, but I also go to an extremely well known school for its academics. So a lower GPA than a person coming from a regular school is still sometimes better.
School isn't really important most of the crap you learn you're not going to use in the real world. I guess it's just there to prove that you have the determination and responsibilty to become a good worker. It's still a giant pain in the ass nontheless.
Hmm...the above poster has a point, but here's my two cents. Classes in High School that were not an AP Class aren't hard at all.....quite easy I must say. However, the AP Classes in HS are a different story...take it from me, a person who takes AP Calculus BC, AP US History, AP Language/Composition, and AP Biology...its a lot of work. However the higher grade might be easier to achieve in HS than in College. If anyone could tell me how college is compared to AP classes, I'd appreciate it.
ive seen some of the questions that my friends in college got for homework.. found them much easier than the ones i had to do in high school. its generally covered already.. the difference is that college has less memory work and more logical thinking.
There's no way college can be easier than high school, high school is just preparation for college, so your friend must have been very prepared.
she thinks its easier, and i think its easier. so does everyone else from my ex-class. why cant college be easier? as i said, college just needs common sense, unlike high school which needs memory work (which is harder)
That's not true I went to high school and worked my ass off to get into university. Once I got in, I totally slacked--it was great. Honestly, I have class 2 hours a day, come home and have nothing to do. My only homework assignment is one term paper for each class, which is due at the end of the semester. I suppose the only thing harder in University or College is studying for midterms and finals, other than that, its all fun and parties.
College is more difficult than highschool no matter what anyone says. If someone DOES say that to you, they just have a really easy major.
That's not true. I'm doing a double major in human geography and English literature and I truly do find University less demanding than high school. You get much more freedom and a lot less homework.
yea high school, is kind of stupid they teach you pointless things that you will forget and you'll never use them in college or real life
I talked to two ppl that go to college, and they said college is 150 times easier than high school, I believe it
