Quote" I think she's nuttier than squirrel pooh" and luna's answer of " a circle has no beginning" to the question of whick came first phoenix or flame.
Did you guys hear about the webchat she had? She apparently answered 120k questions or something. I only read part of the transcript, but it's really interesting. And I really don't think there will be any more books. If there were, it'd certainly be overkill.
I know... it was nice when Mrs Weasley beat Bellatrix but it really should've been Neville cause he's the one with the insane parents...
Things i didnt like. how ron marries his best friend(hermoine) harry marrys his best friends sister ginny. it was like one of those sick soaps where everyone marries there best friends.(hollyoaks) the 300 pages of camping the amount of death such as hedwig dying only a few chapters in the fact harry didnt keep all the hallows and make him self invincible. things i did like the twist with snape and that dumbeldore must die the battle of hogwarts
I don't like how Harry marries Ginny. Ew. None of my friends like Ginny... do you? Maybe it's because I don't like whats-her-face who plays Ginny in the movies. She's hideous. I think Luna is even much cuter imo I think she (Luna) and Harry kind of had 'a moment' in the fifth movie lol
I would love to see JKR keep writing in the same setting, but a new series about different characters. The whole Harry Potter thing is done I think. I love the books but I agree that more HP books would be overkill. Though I also think that there were alot of unanswered questions, and that the final book could have been better written.
I wondered about harry being a parselmouth too..Isnt it something that he would always retain, voldemort or not ?Like jason bourne retaining his chinese dialects.. My favourite part of the book was lupin saying "i'm sorry i didnt get to know him, too" about his son.
Yea i didnt think lupin and tonks should of died, same with Fred. I didnt really care about moody though.
i sorta thought lupin was gonna die, seeing as the other three old school friends did.... but i didnt see tonks coming, especially after she had a kid.
i could sympathize with you there dude...... actually i thought one of the main chars would die.... sadly.... was expecting to see a emo moment
OMG i thought I was the only one who thought that... And that whole 19 years later crap was ridiculous...
The 19 years later i thought rounded it off nicely, with a sort of cycle to show where Harry started off, the first day of Hogwards for his children
one movie for each book. quite duhh -.- i don't really like ginny too. thought she'd have to be much prettier.
I trecked the streets of Venice looking for the book, spent 30 euros on it, and was slightly disappointed! I couldn't believe what I had waited ten years for was such an anticlimax. It had such promise in the early chapters! As for the epilogue, it just seemed too... neat. I like to have a big of my own swing on what happens to characters after the book finishes. Also, the previous questions re: name choices of Hugo and Rose.... R=Ron H=Hermione, names for the opposite gender.... anyway thats just what I thought. [...]
I like to consider myself a Harry Potter nerd. Seriously, it is, byfar, my biggest past time. Not Harry Potter, the books, but rather, Harry Potter, the universe. I read fanfiction, plain and simple. A lot of it. I mainly focus on Harry Potter fanfics, over 100,000 words (about 250 pages translated to a paperback novel). And, I can honestly say that the Deathly Hallows was a disappointment. I have read, far more complex, far more entertaining, far less anticlimactic, and far longer fanfics then book 7. It wasn't that it was bad. It's just that I think it could have been much, much better. And did anyone how Rowling defiled, in an indirect way, Germans? Who noticed the parallelisms between Grindelwald and the 'perfect person' Hitler envisioned? Blue eyes, blond hair, tall, handsome. And not to mention Grindelwald's name was very German. Or how about the parallelism between Nurmengard, the wizarding prison built to hold Grindelwald, and Nuremburg, the famous German city known for exclusive violence and exploitations of minorities during World War II. That sort of disturbed me, even if I am probably taking it too far. Please don't gravedig - ricky92
