David Beckham to the MLS

    HE is there to attract people. Its a good move for the MLS. It will attract people to watch the MLS games. They will make a fortune off of it

    not a soccer fan..
    but every game he plays in the MLS he makes 1million a game..
    cant tell me thats not a good job haha

    I think Beckham made a good move. He is already rich as hell..but who doesn't want more money? Well, more money s what he has got. I think he has passed his prime BUT he is still a very good player. The MLS isn't as good as any European leagues obviously so Beckham will become one of the more influencial players in every game and I think he will enjoy it more.

    About him doing it for the kids/American soccer, I think this is true, but it's easy to say that when you're making $250 million bucks. Either way, it will bring more attention to the league for the first few years, stadiums will be full for Beckham (I know it will be up here in Toronto where Toronto FC will play their first season).

    I'm not sure he'd be worth that much, some people don't even make a million in a lifetime, what about those people who live in poverty? They have skills, just haven't been given the chance to prove themselves. If Beckhams doing it for the sake of it, I think he shouldn't take so much money...
