    I think the major change was a complete revamp of the auth following some 'security threats'. Apart from that I don't think too much has been done.

    Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

    Was there some auth system implemented that we should stick into our programs when making them? Or was the auth system revamped in some other way?

    Yes some of it has to be done by a programmer. I will be making a guide on how to use it, but if anyone is releasing a program anytime soon, PM me.
