wait so the police arrested him AFTER he was let go and found innocent Isnt that like.. against... the constitution or something
Nope because it just works in the same way as re-opening a case that was closed 50 years ago in light of new evidence.
My cousin drinks a lot so I bought him one of those home breathalyser kits for his birthday. Except that the first time he tried to do it he was so drunk he poked himself in the eye with it. Then got pulled over and lost his license for a year. I'll suggest the underwear thing to him next time....
I suppose it is a /bit/ of a giveaway if you are asked to blow into one and you put it in your eye...
drinking a lot makes your life nearer to death am i right? cause you a big percentage to meet accidents. just to be warned the people who drinks a lot.
Mabey what Im thinking about is only about trials. Like I heard that OJ Simpson could totally admit to killing his wife now and it wouldnt change a thing...
Are you sure you aren't thinking of that whole double jeopardy rule? Where supposedly if you get imprisoned for a crime, i.e. murder of your wife, and you were inoocent, then when you get out of jail you can go and kill your wief and it will make no difference as they are not allowed to trial you twice for the same thing... :?
So yeah anyway I'd like to reiterate how acceptable drinking alone is. You aren't an alcoholic so long as you control how much you intake.
Drinking alone is perfectly fine. Just know your limits of the amount of alcholo you're consuming, and be conscious of any actions you may regret. So having a drink here and there while watching T.V. is practically harmless, just don't try anything stupid while under the influence.
Yes something like that. Which also stands for addmitting guilt after your trial. They can't try you for the same thing.
"Yes they're sharing a drink they call loneliness, but it's better than drinking alone." - Billy Joel 8)
I think this is the wrong place to ask such a question Glamorous. By the looks of it most of the users that have posted here seem to have no real idea on how alcohol effects you. They seem to think that once you have 3-4 drinks you have no control of what you're doing and will start to carry on the like the village idiot, this is expected though by the age of some users here. No drinking alone doesn't make you an alco. No you're not an alco if you do drink by yourself and drink more than 10 drinks. No you're not an alcoholic if you drink everyday. YES you are an alcoholic if you feel the NEED to drink everyday and can't bare to go without it.
No, if you took the time to read and quote my next line you would have seen when it is defined you are an alcoholic.
Unless of course you only buy enough to drink that quantity and have run out by then. It's the playing it safe route.
My opinion has now changed as a couple of days ago my Uncle was rushed into hospital with heart failure. He has weeks to live. What caused it is the nine pints a night he drinks alone in his local pub, and has drunk, alone for the past 20 years.
Ah, well maybe in America or wherever you live, but in England we dont have that rule Probably because too many innocents are put in jail and they want revenge
