evidence of underage chinese athletes

    zer0. although you can't stop them from practicing gymnastics there are age limits on many other events (such as worlds) its not just an olympic thing. it is an international gymnastics thing. also if they are good enough to win the olympics at age 13 or lower (no one knows). why not wait another four years and be that much better?

    i personally think that it looks bad for all of us since a lil chinese kid can kick anyones ass, and when i mean anyone, it means all those "adults" who are obviously older and bigger... Like how that 14 year old gymnast won that gold medal :nope:

    i think the age restriction is placed on gymnastics because younger peoples bodies are lighter and more flexible.
    it could also be because gymnastics officials dont want coaches and (in some cases) governments pushing these young kids too hard to be able compete at the olympic level.
