the possibility of getting heads once is 1/4....a second time would be 1/16...so the possibility of getting two or more would be < 1/16
No...I'm pretty sure the probability of getting heads once is 1/2 Anywho, we're covering this in statistics, so the answer is whatever .5^10 is. I'd give ya a number if I could, but I don't have a calculator on me.
 oopsies, that was stupid...the possibility of getting heads once is 1/2....a second time would be 1/4...so the possibility of getting two or more in a row would be < 1/4
no it wouldnt, because you have multiple attempts to do it. the chances of getting 2 heads in 2 flips is 1/4, the chances of getting 2 in a row in 10 flips is much greater
No it isnt. 2 consecutive head flips is just two flips on the coin , it doenst matter if you flip it for eternity, You flip it once its 1/2 , you flip it again , its 1/2. You can get Head Head Tail Tail Tail Head Head Tail But yeah , i seriously think its a quarter and you are all overcomplicating the matter. Its like when i say i flip 9999 tails in a row, what the next chance its a tail, its still just 1/2.
