i just finished the book A Short History of Nearly Everything, and it said that right now we are actually at a cold point in the history of the earth. back millions of years ago, there was no permanent ice on the surface of the earth, and that the fact that we still have glaciers is because we are still coming out of an ice age, and the earth is correcting itself. so technically this could be a normal process that has just been amplified by humans. the weather patterns on earth change alot mostly based on where the air and water currents are traveling. the fact that panama closed up the gap between north and south america and stopped a lot of the water currents from the atlantic to the pacific, it caused huge climate problems. different episodes like this may have even caused ice ages.

I believe it is reversible, Earth's atmosphere is repairing itself over time.As long as humans dont continue to desvastate the ozone, it should not have much of a problem. I did not do research on topics like this so i merely say what i think, which often is wrong >.< Anyway, countries all over the world are cutting down on emissions, maybe except for those 3rd-world countries.

I dont think humans solely caused it... But we're not helping.

I think we should keep in mind how we treat this world. But personally, i'm going to live how I want and that's just how it is. Human nature.

The biggest contributor to global warming is agriculture, however since we all need food, I think that's why everyone is focusing on cars, especially with the spike in population growth that we are seeing.

Not reversible... Could be slowed down but that is about it.

Alright, there isn't enough time for me to write out all the quickfacts on this one, but here are a few views. It is not irreversible, if the effects were there, we could have a very simple, yet hard to execute plan. Major cities would increase bus production and routes and they would be mandatory, for a few years, until alternate fuels are assessed. Of course it would have been caused by humans, we are the only CO2 dumping animal in the world(On this scale). Now there is a scale of world temperatures over millions of years, and we can see that the world doesn't really have a problem, we do. The world fluctuates up its temperatures every 10 or so million years, going low and high over the entire 10 million year period. The period we are in right now is a period of heating, the world temperatures are going up, but not due to us, it has happened many times before (ice ages, etc.).

Already wrote more then I thought I would:p Want any other info just PM me:)

It shouldn't be refferred to as global warming, as the proof doesn't all fit, its better to say climate change, because really, my winter lasted 2 months longer this year then usual !

We don't know if it's caused by humans. But one thing is for sure: we should be aware of it!
Did anyone see Al Gore's: The inconvinient truth? It's amazing. Now, I know we only see it from his side, but hey. It's amazing how much ice already melted o_O it's scary actually..
For the first time, people have noticed polarbears actually DROWNING because they couldn't find ice to stay on.
I do think we should do something to pollution. It's insane how much China, Japan and USA pollutes the world O; we should make an agreement to spent some money on more enviremental-ensuring solutions.

Its mostly our fault with all the pollution and so on. Not very many things in nature if any contribute to global warming. We probably cant actually STOP global warming but we could probably reduce it.

Well I guess we kinda already know what we can do to, well not "stop" global warming but just to reduce the time it will take to deplete the ozone layer. Then again I don't see any decline in driving in the streets so i'm guessing people aren't doing much.

I don't think global warming is real. I mean, the Earth DOES naturally warm up and cool down, and I think we're just overreacting.
