I was royally pissed yesterday. I missed 3 of em. The first I missed cuz I forgot that a confirmation to buy pops up so I might as well have had my finger up my but. On other 2 I lagged. Woulda been a nice old weekend if I had gotten one. 50 accounts must be so hard to handle. I'm having trouble managing 5 -_-

 

lol try like 99.9999%. I'm pretty sure there are less than 100 people out there with over 400-500 million np

 

I know at least 20 people on the bdc who have over 500m not including the top 50 pet owners or other tcers out there that make bank. I know there are more than 100 people who have over that.

Never seen this Item, so without success.

the price is crazy..i think its funny how people wont go a penny under the rumoured price..they here it somewhere crazy *apparerntly this thing goes for 600mil* then all ov a sudden im not taking a penny under 600m lmao, if they heard it was worth 50m everyone would be asking for 50m and be none the wiser to how much its actually worth..Suap does 32 icons and wasnt that about 100m when it first came out? and why is it supposed to be worth more than the seasonal attack pea thats all sold out of the cove now And does 5 more icons? i swear..they must pull these prices out of a hat..

 

Thats why sites like jellyneo are bad for buyers and good for sellers. anyone can change the price, and the first price just happened to be 600m when everyone was still selling it for 350m.

theres no "actual worth" of any item. the "auctual worth" is what people are willing to buy and sell the item at, so if the rumor is 50m and people are acutally selling and buying at 50m, that IS the "actual worth"

Suap was 100m when it first came out, so? That was like half a decade ago, and they're worth like 2 billion now. I can use that arguement and say that the H4000 helmet was worth around 5k when it first came out. The marbles from the hidden tower does almost the exact same thing, and its worth over 7 million. Are these marbles with only 3 more offensive icons supposeto be THAT much more expensive than the H4000 helmet (5k) which is retired?

 

I wonder how much USD people would pay to get this item.

 

The reason the price is crazy is because they compare it to other weapons in it's class like the regular attack pea which was going for about 600-800m before the GoW came out so the price really isn't unreasonable especially since the icons are somewhat varied compared to the attack pea. The onloy reason why when GoW was only 350m and not higher when it was first released was the fear of it being downgraded or it being a once per use bomb and as soon as the editorial came out saying it was multi-use the price sky rocketed to 500m in an instant. 600m isn't even going to be the tip of the iceberg I wouldn't be surprised if by next month they are selling for 700 or even 800 mil.

 

And my next question is...HOW DO YOU MAKE 800 million NEOPOINTS ? Where are these rich people coming from? How many are they?

I totally hate EVERYTHING that goes for over 500 million. I HATE those who got over 500 million pure and finally, I HATE this weapon.

Why?

- most people will never be able to AT LEAST see it somewhere, not mention buying it
- the wave of enthusiasm and excitement is unreasonable. TNT releases a new cove item and coincidently, I SEE this weapon rated 10 at Neopets Battlepedia and people praising it more than anything.
- the earth icons are common to attack peas too and with DUAL shovel you can easily counter this weapon.
- very lucky ones got richer almost instantly by buying this only to have the interest of keeping it for a long time now to SELL IT FOR billions later.

I HAVE not expressed the positive points about this because that was not in my interest. IN my opinion this weapon shouldn't have existed.

IF they released several Cove items with similar icons or with other effects, prices will have dropped and Neopian Economy wouldn't have gone crazy. Also, there would have been more equilibrium to it.

 

Just to clarify, this is not 500 mill pure, people are giving items that are worth the equivalent, while lots of people would have 500 mill worth or more (and I mean alot) they probably have never at any point had 500 mill in the bank.

It's such a flawed economy cause no-one needs to spend neopoints they hardly ever leave the economy so unique items or 100 limited items can inflate to anything, people getting frozen is probably where most of the neopoints leave, the points spent in main shops and HT is nothing compared to the neopoints given out.. I wonder if a plausible solution is even possible? It would be nice if they made it so that the new colour magma is not given out by anything (ie.pb's lab mp's etc...) except some sort of shop that charged like 50 mill for the colour change and all the magma pets looked amazing. Totally out of reach for tons of people but one of the ultimate status symbols that will actually drain neopoints out of trading

 

To answer your first questions:
HOW DO YOU MAKE 800 million NEOPOINTS ? Either cheating, being around for a long time to have stored it up, or being lucky by keeping stuff that might retire.
Where are these rich people coming from? Most of them are from either the BDChat or Trade Chat
How many are they? Allot more than you'd think. Most of the top 50 battlers in NP have a couple bil. Some TCers I know of that have been around for years are around there. Even a few ACers have some nice cash floating around.

TNT screwing up the game even more surprises you still? I've been around long enough to know that whenever things start going seemingly well with neopets in general, the staff will always find a way to screw it up for the average person.

 

Three of them would be even nicer do you spend much time at the cove? Or was it just a one time stint for GoW?

 

I'm going in and out whenever I'm feeling lucky I think there's probably another week or two before they're all coved like right now they're going one a day.

You mean the amount they release? Probably like 100-120 in total. But some are frozen already as they cheated their GoWs.

 

There's no point in restocking cove except for when a new item is released and 2-3 weeks after while it's being released into the cove. Only 100 are released and there was only ever 1 time that tnt released an extra 20 of every item in the cove after their initial release to replace frozen cove items.
