Yeah its going to be a sub-area of universal studios in Orlando, Fl. Kind of like the Dr. Seuss part if you have ever been there. As for the mmorpg I would hope it would not be to PG like the games. The whole aspect of collecting Jellybeans and mediocre platforming never really appealed to me...A darker side set in the war between voldy and good would be awesome (and would solve the whole faction thing). You could also have the "newb areas" be wizarding schools....and let peoples actions at school cause their faction alignment not just a screen at the beginning. Another interesting feature i would hope for would be a LARGE assortment of spells...The games usually focused on 1 main attack spell and others for special situations....The mmorpg would have to have hundreds..... Professions: This is an area of hp that translates very well to an mmo. There are so many professions in the world of potter other than aurors and death eaters that the content could almost be limitless. Crafting, enchanting, herbalism, animal care, death eaters, working for the minestry.....etc etc One would hope it would not just be a *go to point a and kill dementor* type of game. ....maybe quidditch intergration with open endedness to form teams (like guilds?) and compete in leagues...and for non-participating players to gather at matches and sell their wares (like in book 4) and generally cheer on the teams. The possibilities are endless.
I am going to see the 5th film on Friday, can't wait. Very excited. But like most people are more excited about the book. I will be putting my degree work on hold to read the book (got to get my priorities sorted!!). JK has said that main characters will die in the last book and has confirmed the death of Dumbledore (which has already been mentioned). Don't forget the hand mirrors (Sirius gave one to Harry), apparently they are going to be back in the last book as well.
Is Dumbledore really dead? Yes Is Sirius dead? Yes, but I think he'll be back in the next book...not in a human form, maybe a ghost Is Snape evil? mystery Who is RAB? Regulus I won't say my theories here because my english is not that good; but I believe that at the end of the story, Voldemort death will have something to do with the blood (it was harry's blood) that was used in Dark Lord ressurection ritual. (Goblet of Fire) Editing this part of my message (4:28 am) to tell everybody to be careful, cause there are too many spoilers around internet right now...lol,for instance, I just get the last 7 pages of Deadly Hallows...and it seems to be real (scanned from the book) I didn’t read it, I'm really afraid to read it if anyone wants it I can tell the links...
!!!! I couldn't bear to read the ending just like that-- Haha, I hated when people spoiled the sixth book too by putting in their profiles and stuff "DUMBLEDORE DIES" It just ruined it for me.
yes!! x_x Now,I can't even enter msn, people are spreading spoilers there too lol I just can't wait until book 7 comes out.
Wow that theory makes 100% sense to me, Voldemort could've used harry's scar as a horcrux because he knew that by putting it in a human he would'nt lose it and it would have a low cahnce of being destroyed. I'm sure the last book has something to do about his scar because Rowling said the last word in the book was scar. I agree with the idea of Snape still being on the good side because im pretty sure Voldemort wanted harry dead so he could take the horcrux out of him, but snape didnt kill him because he knew harry was probably the only one to destroy snape. To convince Voldemort that hes on the bad side he decided to kill Dumbledore as a fake to gain Voldemorts trust. Hes probably some kind of a double-agent trying to get something from Voldemort that we dont know of yet. Im assuming its something that could help harry destroy Voldemort though. As for RAB its probably a clue from dumbledore to tell harry that a horcux was something that regulas owned like you said.
I totally agree on the plausability of that. Think about the prophecy for a second. "Neither can live while the other survives" What if that ALSO meant they can't be one without the other? JK having Harry as a Horcrux would mean he would eventually have to kill himself/have himself killed in order to defeat LV. It's a nice get out clause for JK as well, as it does put an end to Harry. I think that it used to be scar, then she wrote the last chapter about what happens to the characters in later life. (Don't quote me on that, but i'm pretty sure) Oh most definitely. It had to have been in Dumbledore's plan all along for Snape to kill him. The unbreakable vow, the cursed one year post as a DADA teacher. DD knew that Snape wouldn't last over a year, and knew about his UB (lol, unbuyable?) vow with Narcissa. So what I propose is that DD made an UB vow with Snape, in order for Snape to survive. Which would mean Snape is going to be very important in the upcoming book, if DD was worth dying for him. On the other hand Snape just could be evil. lol How could it be a clue off DD? Unless he had switched lockets in his pockets (hehehe) there was no way that it was a clue from him. JK said in interviews she had planted horcruxes in the earlier books (from what my brother was saying he seemed to think CoS) but it could just as easily be the unopenable locket in Sirius' house. Or Harry's house as it is now. Lol, I gave this topic a lot of thought on the way back from France, it was an 18 hour trip 5 days people! 5 days!
So I have 2 supporters of my theory now? 8) But what about Neville. I bet there is some significance as to the bubble gum wrappers.
I dont remember 100% i have to reread the 6th book but as i remember harry and dumbledore were on a hunt to destroy the horcruxs. Since DD knew he'd be killed wouldnt you think hed leave some kind of clue for harry to continue the search(get the horcrux thats in the blacks house) or now that i think of it, it could be a clue that the unopenable locket is the horcrux who knows. As for Neville since i cant remember his significance, you think that harry would have to kill himself since hes a horcrux, neville would be the one who would deliver the final blow to Voldemort. I could be completely wrong on that part since i dont remember Neville's significance. Do they say it in book 5 or 6?
maybe he left clues for harry to follow in a pensive telling him everything to do to find and destroy a horcrux.
Guys i tottaly agree with almost everything you said..... but really do you think JK is that stuiped? To make RAB Regulus? Thatd be kinda obvious to all the readers dont u think? Think of it in the way of her saying there will be new charchers in the new book and old ones will be brought back! So think of it in a way were there is no Regulus but there is still RAB.... And correct me if im wrong but wasnt there a drawer in the black house that couldnt be opend? Maybe LV asked Regulus to make that a Horcrux
Thats what we were thinking that the drawer or locket(i dont no which is the locked one) is the horcrux
The locket definitely couldn't be opened. I was under the assumption after HP and DD find the fake locket that the one in the Black house must have been the horcrux, and I'm pretty darn sure that in the note R.A.B left said he had destroyed the horcrux. Marvolo's ring is proof that you don't have to make an object dissapear in order for it to be "unhorcruxed" (lol) I agree that DD may have left Harry a clue, but I highly doubt that he knew that the locket was fake. If that was the case, it would have been pointless going to the cave and retrieving it. But then if DD left a clue HP knew about, he (Harry) wouldn't have, at the end of HBP said he was going to Godrics Hollow to start his search. My interest now, is of Malfoy. I have a strong feeling he will turn "good" so to speak, and assist Harry. Any points to discuss on that one?
I totally agree. I feel like Rowling will bring back that moment of hesitation and pull it into full force at a point with Malfoy.
