Then why is there still a NC Mall? That's their biggest criticism, but I do get your point. They are upping their game a little.
Viacom are aware of that critisism probably, too, but they know that people will continue to buy from it. Yay - money.
Viacom are far too consumer-oriented not to be aware of the criticism. If you spend more than five minutes on most any board, you'll see some player, somewhere making a "self-icing because Neo has devolved into a pit of despair and n00bdom" board. And there are some pretty serious, long-time players that do it, too. The mods have to be aware of it, which means that everyone is aware of it.
Honestly it's no different from other MMO's that are free, they are aware of what's going on and the criticism included. However, there is only so much leeway that they can give, and especially with such a big company like neopets, I would think that they have a detailed plan and everything's going according to plan. As it always goes, if there's not enough complaining, no one's gonna do much about it. The fact that people do complain on boards is one thing, but it doesn't account for the entire population of neopets ugh I'm sleep deprived and incoherent...so I have no idea if I just made sense...*falls asleep on keyboard*
Personally since TNT sold out and got taken over thinks sadly have been going downhill. I've had 2 accounts frozen for using an autobuyer when I wasn't using an autobyer. Can't they believ I can actually restock that fast? I'm hoping that they start to realize they are losing customers then maybe they'll change things.
When you see this picture you wouldn't think it's from Neopets :arf: Perhaps they can bring some more interesting stuff...
I love the new kau, looks amazing. Kinda creepy though, I was genuinely surprised since lately they've gone all anal about anything that might be "unfair" or "scary" or "unpleasant" for kids.
Eh, I love mutants, but i'm not a very big fan of some of the newer ones. They just seems to be throwing in a bunch of random colors, tentacles, scales, and they're done...
