I've not been robbed myself personally...but my mums friend has. It was her daughters birthday and they rang on the bell, when you looked through the hole you can just see an ordinary looking friend with a present for his friends birthday but when the door opened, in came about 3 other men who pushed there way past and tied up the mother, daughter and son in one room while they went a robbed all the goods. They threatened them with a knife for cash and where the most valuable stuff were. That's what I heard from my mum lol. xD
This was back when I was a freshman, I was at my locker and 3 big seniors come up to me. They push me against my locker and take my wallet. Good thing it only had 5 dollars in it
Once when me and my parents went out to lunch in sydney we came home and we saw ourselves being robbed. Theres this backfence and they were throwing the stuff over the fence then jumping over it. We rang the police but it was kinda to late to do anything about it. That was before we had the alarm. we do now =)
When i was younger about 2 - 3 our house got robbed at christmas. they took all the presents from under the tree.
I never knew so many people get robbed and, so easily. This is disturbing. I personally have also never bee robbed. But i heard that from my sister that her friend got robbed. They were armed and in the process of robbing him, they slashed at him causing him to have stitches all over his hand. :| :| :| Be careful...
Heh, yeah, his story sure had me fooled...up to a certain stage. When I was a kid, some guy stole our shoes from our front porch. They left foot prints in the garden. Insurance paid for it, and I got new shoes! My mum used to own a shop that sold paintings and framed prints. When she was busy with a customer, a group of teenagers came in and looked around, and left. When she was finished with the customer, one of her paintings was gone. Man, that was pretty bad. Also, we buy our paintings and prints from a supplier, and bring them to the shop in the back of a car. So I used to bring them to the shop from the car, taking several at a time. During one of the trips, I took some of the paintings to the shop, and when I came back to the car, the lock to the boot was heavily damage, like someone tried to force their way in with a screw driver or something. They didn't get in, and it has happened once or twice after that. But I didn't see anyone around, guess they skedaddled off after a few minutes of trying
My bike has been stolen once! I put a lock on my front wheel and the gate, the next morning all that was left was a front wheel still attached to the gate, >_>
My house got broken into. They kicked in our back door and took my mom's purse. It's kinda funny cause she probably had like 8 bucks on her and her credit cards (which she promptly cancelled)... Around the corner and in our closet, was my grandma's purse which had about $500 in it haha. Someone turned in the purse to the police a week or two later with the credit cards still in it. Way to kick in a door for EIGHT dollars. Needless to say we got an alarm system and a dog.
No, but ive robbed YOU! O.O But yeah, seriously i havent. Im fairly lucky in that respect i guess. Not that I walk around with 60$ is my pockets though.
I have and it's a nightmare. I left my purse and laptop in my car once, and when I got back to it from the store, my window was smashed and they were both gone. Needless to say I had all my credit cards in there (which were cancelled before they could be used thankfully), somewhere around $500 cash, my 80gb ipod, my cell, and my new laptop....so all in all somewhere around $3000 dollars worth gone in a matter of moments. It was horrible.
someone robbed my friend the other day, shot him 2 times and left him for dead... r.i.p robel ive been robed at knife and gun point many times. its not a nice thing to hapen to someone
1 time, I left the doors unlocked(stupid me) and went out, an hour later my VCR was gone. surprisingly that was the only thing they took, out of everything in the house! LOL.
i have only been robbed once. it was this summer while i was working at arby's. we had just closed the store and turned out the lights. so i was cleaning the shake maching just behind the counter when i man with a face mask and dressed in all black walked up to told me to give him all the money in the. i told him that there wasn't any money in it so he jumped the counter and made my co-worker and me go with him to the back where her made my manager give hin the money. he then tried to go back out the front when he remembered that the doors were locked so he ran out the back. my manager then ran after him whlie i hit the panic button.
