Stop right there. You have 2 choices: Dell Latitude. Lenovo T series. Classy and professional. None of those omgomglookatshinyglosssslightttttttttyay things. Dell's actually improved their business line by a bit so that the build quality no longer sucks. Lenovo(IBM) is classic. Seriously. If you want to game, get a desktop. Get a business line laptop for anything else.
Heh... you can set up right clicking you know XD Also, Macbook Pro's are serious and business like... unless you want plastic XD
Wh-w-what?! YUU ASIAN FEE! YOU MAJOR IN MEDICINE, BECOME DOCTAH! TAKE CARE OF PARENTS WHEN THEY OLD well thats the story i heard at least when i was applying
You know what I heard when I was applying to premed at Lehigh? 'You can go if you want and I'll support you, but I don't think you can be a doctor. I know you personality type and you can't handle the work. You'll probably get bad grades and not get into med school.' - loving father Anyways, Aiore, that'd be perfect as my sister is going to work for Dell in the summer...I wonder if she'd get a discount. Though I wanted to buy one earlier. Anyways, the look of teh laptop doesn't matter so much regarding the business-y thing, I just meant that I'm trying to stay away from any OS that's not MS.
Psssh Linux has epic compatibility. And if it's an issue do some yum install wine. <3 And, I don't know how you can think macs aren't business-y.. EVERY SINGLE SHOW USES THEM. If that isn't good for business, I don't know what is!
No such thing. :nope: Oh, and you should get that U1 Hybrid by lenovo. Tell me how it works out for you. I kinda want one - it's shiny. :maha:
hello 10 inch screen I don't think it'll be a laptop replacement. EDIT: mainstream laptop replacement
If you're talking about the U1, it's actually 11.6" and I would actually prefer a smaller screen. I have a 17" laptop right now is it's not really that portable. :nope: And I agree that it won't become a replacement, but rather just another option.
14"-15" is mainstream 17"+ is more of a desktop replacement Anything less than 13" is a netbook. Looking at the price, it's much higher than the typical netbook (due to the additional operating system + ssd). But eh; you get what you pay for.
Hmmm we'll see then! If it comes in a bigger screen version, is less buggy, etc. then it's definitely a consideration. As I'll need it for 4 years I'm a bit hesitant about buying one that's totally new to market.
I just thought it was a really cool innovation. I wasn't even actually considering it. I'm ashamed to say that I'm looking at MBPs or maybe some other ~13" notebook. Looking for something light and fast.
I already have a 17" laptop. I can use that for browsing the web, stuff like that... I dunno. I may go with a 15". I'll have to decide after I put in a new HDD into my current laptop and see how it runs. I'm going with either 13" or 15" and I still have no idea which HDD to order.
EDIT: .... I did it again. Aghhh i can't remember to check the dates, i just see it on the first page of the forum and the title grabbed me. Sorry.
