    I also use FireFox with AdBlock Plus and a list filter for it.
    I hardly get any Ads anywhere including NeoPets.

    Look for the ad-on.
    Adblock Filterset.

    That should block more than the regular adblock by itself.

    thats cool that it makes the page load faster Ill definitely try this out. there seem to be a lot of firefox users here, what makes firefox better than IE? ive used both and havent noticed anything different.

    Edited:
    i tried and it cuts off the top of the page but the add just moves down and overlaps my neopets navigation bar.

    Not sure if this was posted, but on IE you can also do this to block "all ads."

    Create a Notepad file with .css as its extension. In the Notepad, put this:

    div.ban,div#ban, #ban, .ban, #ban_spacer, .adBox2, .footOverlay, .yahoo_cmss {
    display: none !important;
    }

    .ad_wrapper,.ad_wrapper_fixed,#ban,#ban_bottom {
    visibility:hidden !important;
    }

    In Internet Explorer, goto Tools, Internet Options, Accessibility, then check the user Style Sheet Box, select the file you creating then save, or ok the changes. :)

    Sorry to gravedig, but I thought this was needed:
    And sorry if anyone else posted about this...

    but

    You can add on Jelly neos code to the end of your code and it will get rid of the ad AND the grey bar.

    JN's Code:

    #ban, #ban_bottom, .ad_wrapper, .ad_wrapper_fixed, .adBox2, .adBox {display:none;}

    And all together it would be:

    #ban, #ban_bottom, .ad_wrapper, .ad_wrapper_fixed, .adBox2, .adBox {display:none;}

    div.ban,div#ban {
    display: none !important;
    }

    @-moz-document domain(neopets.com){
    div#ban{display:none;}
    div#bottomban{display:none;}
    td.tl > object{display:none;}
    #mb + form{display:none !important;}
    }

    div.bottomban,div#bottomban {
    display: none !important;
    }

    It's not possible to block the banner with Adblock as it does not appear to be an image...

    So...ummm...I'm surfing neo just now, and all of a sudden...WHAM

    There's a grey box at the top of my screen :(

    I use FF, adblock...apparently neo is changing some things up and now the grey box is no longer blocked by adblock (at least on my computer)

    HELP, URGENT, WHAT DO I DO!?!?!?!?!?!?

    EDIT: There is also a black bar with the writing "ADVERTISEMENT" at the bottom of some of my pages :( This is extremely distressing...
