SUPPLIESCotton Batting Hot Glue Gun LED Lights Paper Lanterns Instructions1. Pull at the cotton batting until it looks fluffy, light, and cloud-like. 2. Hot glue the batting to the outside of the paper lantern in various places, making sure it’s fluffed to your liking. 3. Place your LED lights inside each lantern. 4. If you’re using small, battery powered LED lights, you can affix them to the internal structure of the lantern and hang it wherever you like. 5. As another option, you could make a chain of several clouds, connecting them with Elemental LED’s RGB 4-In-One LED Puck Light Kit, which would enable you to create color-changing-LED lit clouds remotely controlled with an RGB controller! (This option requires a nearby electrical outlet, however.)
It's very crucial to use LED lights because they don't get hot. Have fun though. This is a very fun project.
I figured as much I made some Christmas lights for a friend of mine last year, using small colored wicker globes. Had a whole string of them and they looked superb, also needed to use LEDs for heat problems - Dont want to set things on fire after all!
I used wicker globes like these: Then I got christmass lights, wedged them into the holes and attached them using glue and wire (to make sure they'd stay in position) They looked something like this: You can buy them in the shop, but I thought it more fun (and cheaper) to try and make my own
wow! I have been looking for a good tutorial on this, best one ive read (super simple compared to some) Thanks alot!
