JUDGEMENT. If there was an item called judgement, I'd have handed it all to yall on a silver platter.
I didn't mean to sound uppity: I just meant that even if the French Revolution is common knowledge - which it's not, where I come from, I had no clue that it would ever be considered as such - most people aren't all that interested in French history, and therefore likely wouldn't recognise the reference, even if they had taken it in school. Some people have different interests. Like, I had to get someone to remind me of the capital of Belgium the other day, and he could hardly do it for laughing, because apparently that is common knowledge...I never would have thought it. Oh - and I love that Marie Antoinette is the one that you bring up instead of the King. It makes me laugh, because that's always who I think of whenever I first think of the era.
