There is another video somewhere with a guy with a small amount of ooblek which he pours into his hands. He then rubs his hands like he was making a snowball and as long as his hands were moving, the ooblek was in the shape of a ball. As soon as his hands stopped moving, it looked like liquid again. It was really cool.
actually i seen that and i decided to make some today lol its so sweet and if u have dry hands it works better then lotion lol
Just like custard when John Tickle did that on UK Brainiac. Yup, nice theoretical (correct spelling?) stuff. Eat your heart out Einstein.
Wow, I could have a lot of fun with something like that haha. That would be awesome to have in my backyard.
Lmao I made a smaller batch of this stuff its weird dont stick your hand in if its a big batch or itll get covered and this stuff hardens
That's why it's good to only watch a couple seconds of it. Watching the whole thing is an extreme waste of life.
If you threw that thing at something really hard would it just bounce around and eventually turn back to liquid?
I learned that if you apply a hard force this becomes a solid, and once the force disapears it becomes a liquid again. Apparently ketchup is the opposite and these things are called visco-elastic non-newtonian fluids lol. (thats from memory i dunno if its exact)
