I was up in the high 20s when the dreaded Bag of Peanuts came and then my time was up... Needless to say i was mad, but w/e I only wish I thought of the Forums for quests before time was up ~Parisdirt
Totally agree with both of you...the thing is, though, that most of the time the person with the item I need isn't online...and by the time they are online, it's after the 16 minutes and 40 seconds allowed for Illusen's Quest is up. And it's incredible how fast that time flies by when you're desperate to find that item!
At level 11. Just started out hoping to get the HP. If not im just gonna buy from someone. Easy items though so far and i hope to continue that way.
it seems a few years ago it was cheaper to pull off.....im not sure i want to try again...but then again....i could get lucky.
Yeah definitely, there's always the chance you could get further. Hasn't happened for me yet... -_- but I still have hope.

For me, they've always been unbuyable at level 32. I've NEVER been able to get past that. It varies though, like I just finished level 11 or 14 or something, and she wanted me to get a sun-dried techo claw, which only cost me like 4 NP, when in level 2, I've needed to get things that are worth a couple thousand. It seems extremely random, but things are more prone to get expensive in the 30s.
Its around 12 hours before the next level so you can do it twice a day. Im personally aiming for HP so 35/2=17 :lol:
I've gotten up to 39 before, when you get in the mid-30's its pretty wise to start a thread in BD chat and get some people with some r99s. Give it a half hour of waiting, start the quest and hope either its buyable or one of your people in the thread has the item in their gallery/sdb.
Haha, yeah, I try to remember to do it both times each day. I hate having to wait so long to get up to the higher levels. :\ Yeah, definitely...unfortunately last time I tried that, it didn't work out. :\ But you say to start a thread in the Battledome chat? I'll have to try that next time...last time I started threads in the Quests, Shop Ads, and Trades (or something) chats.
Lol i never use the board. Maybe i'll start posting once i reach level 25+. Hope it still doesnt get harder
Well it's worth going up to at least quest 20 just to get the avvie... But if those aren't your thing, that chances of getting anything worthwhile are slim. So it usually just ends up being a waste of money. Same with J-Quests.
Last school holidays i woke up every morning at 9 to do a quest, and ran to the computer at 9pm to do one. It ended up terribly, got to level 35.. she asked for a rainbow something plushie and it was only 400k, i was so excited and this guy was online and he had one and it was all sweet, then at the last minute he backed out. I hate him. And now illusen turns me off big time.
