They're working on makeing a mammal with the same brain capacity as us also. Which I also don't think is a good idea, what if they decide to take over the world and mass genocide all humans, THEN WHAT?!

There's 6 billion of us now, but they still have lots of time to spawn.

I believe everything will be more efficent and pro environment. We'll have run out of fossil fuels so we'll have to find another source of energy and all technology will be smaller and be able to work better than now.

Technology will definitely be unfathomable, apparently our abilities to store and transmit information is growing exponentially! Just imagine what that would yield in 100 years...

In terms of the economy, I predict there will be either a world currency, or united currencies for continents (like the EU).

As for politics, I don't see much changing in this sphere. I highly doubt that the US will remain as the hegemonic entity that it is today, my bet is that Asian countries with high growth rates such as India and China will dominate this sphere. Whether or not the power is unilateral, bilateral or multilateral is another area of debate.

That would only happen to areas in the Global South. Developed regions of the Global North have witnessed a dramatic decline in birth rates, sometimes even to the point where they can't replace the population that is dying (see Japan).

Reading your first post I think that probably half the world will be flooded with Global Warming close to 100 years time. Humans are polluting the land. We are frikin gonna kill our selves.

But I am not going to stop getting a ride to school :x

in 100 years time the neopets site will no longer exist. :p

therefore the people from the south will take over the world, whereas people from the north will become extinct? as in natural selection, whoever is more reproductively successful will survive..?
