Probably because your on the same IP as the accounts that got iced. Change your IP :)

    birthday

You know when i was frozen they froze all my sides that had the same e-mail.. but I found one thats not frozen (different e-mail)

but when I try to log in... it asks for my birthday on the password page.. and I dont remember what random birthday I put in...

Does anyone know why its asking for my birthday? sometimes if you get the password wrong on the first try it does.. but that hasnt happened, its just auto asking

the account was on a different ip, at a different address and no one there plays neo, there was nothing linking them, but i still got iced.
the thingn is i live in a shared house and a all my house mates are into neo and are all cheaters, and then im the one who gets iced.

    Re: birthday

If you haven't logged into an account for a certain amount of time (I believe it's 6 months) it will ask for your birthday. The only way to find this without just trying every single combination that exists is to add the account as a neofriend. You can then see the age which will give you the year. Then, just keep checking everyday until the age increases or try a few different dates every day. It's upto you.

Did you ever send items or NP to it? They might have just tracked your trades and such and decided to ice that account as well.

It could have been because of that. You never know with TNT. Maybe they were just freeze crazy the day you got iced.

    i see

Oh thanks for the tip about adding as a friend

    I will try that

Also.. does anyone know. If I change the e-mail address of an account. And AB on that account and they freeze that account(usually freezing all accounts with that e-mail) do you think they will track it back to the last e-mail also.

    For example..in case im confusing...

    I have 3 accounts under the e-mail yadda@hotmail.com

I change one account to the e-mail gotit@hotmail.com

That account gets froze, when they go and freeze all the accounts with that e-mail do you think they will auto freeze the others?

    Re: i see

If they are the real email addresses that you use, I suggest editing your post and taking them out. If any TNT members happen to browse through, they'll likely freeze the accounts attached to those emails. Better to be safe than sorry ;)

Also, it's wise to not use the same email address for more than one account. That way, you eliminate the chance of a chain ice via email address. However, the main thing is to use different IPs as this is what TNT will usually chain ice you through.

Hope this helps. Feel free to PM me if you need anymore help

How did you send the items? Through trades or direct send through neofriends? And also, were your accounts linked by e-mail?

There is no real way to ensure the security of your main account. Even if TNT has the slightest suspicion that you are cheating, your accounts will get frozen.

The best way to protect your main account is to create all your accounts using different IP addresses (if your IP is static, use a proxy). Also, create your accounts using different e-mail addresses and when filling out the profile, make sure that you select different countries, birthdays, and names. Basically, anything that can link your accounts together must be avoided.

Gah! Was iced for autobuying. I fell asleep last night and forgot that I had left my ABer on. Woke up this morning and found 2/3 of my accounts were frozen.

Interestingly, both were given the reason of "autobuying" when only one of them did (the other just supplied the cash). The account I am left with also did autobuy, but was not frozen, interestingly.

This leads me to conclude that Neopets did not freeze me on the basis of matching my IPs (otherwise all of my accounts would be gone), but rather, they froze me due to the transactions between my accounts, especially those to the dirty one.

All 3 accounts also had different e-mails, fyi.
