"I've been Iced!" Thread

Is there a "neopoint laundering" process to sending items or profits from ABing to your main account that will protect it from being frozen?

Also, has anyone been frozen for using one of those image clicks things?

 

The process that works extremely well, is this.

1. AB some goods.
2. Make a brand-new account on a fresh IP with unique sign-up info (name, bday, zipcode etc)
3. Send your ABed items via neofriend to the new account from your AB account.
4. DON'T ACCEPT THE ITEMS ON THE NEW ACCOUNT.
5. Let them sit in the queue and keep sending them back after the 48 hour limit or whatever returns it to you.
6. When your AB acct gets frozen, login the new acct on a fresh ip and accept the items.
7. Let them sit there for a while until you feel it is safe to send them to your main.

Method 2:
1. Buy an expensive petpet with "dirty" neopoints.
2. Attach it to a pet calld like lolol_1231_1432njfwfw so nobody will want to adopt it.
3. Adandon the pet on your AB acct and then adopt it on your main.
4. Take off the petpet and sell it.

This is the reason that got me into cheating :/ I once lost a great account because I typed 'wtf' on neoboards. I'm not pro swearing or anything, it's just that TNT could fix some better use for their freezebot >B

 

I was iced for restocking on more then one account (legitly). They iced all of my accounts but after many emails complaining they allowed me to pick one account and they uniced it.

 

Just got iced for scamming NP on 2 accts including my main

 

Does anyone know if changing your IP makes it so that new accounts you make aren't as susceptible to being iced?

 

Of course. Make sure you clear your neopets cookies each time as well

 

So lets say I have an account that I make on my blacklisted IP, and then I change my IP. Will my new IP be blacklisted if I use my account that I created on my previous IP? Sorry if it sounds a little confusing >_>

 

Very very possible

The best you can hope for is that your new ip address is not blck listed and is been watched closer than a paris hilton film.

 

So what should I do? If I use a proxy and block my IP address, will my new IP still be blacklisted?

 

you need to make a new account on your new ip and ditch/never login your old accounts

new email addy ect

 

Eep! Even IF I use a proxy it'll still be blacklisted? Are you sure?

 

0-o the ip address you log on to neopets with are all saved soo....

also, if your gonna use proxys you run the risk of picking up dirty ip anyways.

So what if I create a new account and I transfer stuff from my old account using public wifi? Or would that still look suspicious?

Better? Meaning completely safe? I mean I could transfer my stuff and then self freeze it. Is that the best solution?

 

Tip: Don't use gametrainers on an AB account... Cost me quite some NP and UB items yesterday. I'd advice anybody to just make a second account and use a diff proxy.. :nope:
