Jip, the title sort of explains my problem. Every two page views or so, I randomly get logged out. sometimes I have to log in 4 times before it finally accepts that, yes, I really am trying to log in. It's getting kind of frustrating, especially when I'm typing out a post, click sumbit, and it says "you are not logged in" then I have to retype the entire thing... any suggestions on what could be causing this, or how I could fix it?
wen u log in did u click on the box that says 'automatically log me in'?? click on it... then u shouldnt have a problem
I've had this kinda problems in phpbb forums until I changed to my new pc. I can't guarantee you this works, but maybe try clearing your cookies and reset the browser, it often solves most of these kinda problems.
It happened to me as well. When I logged in, it said "No recipient defined" And whenever I logged in, the next page I would not be logged in. Then I deleted that cookie, and it works okay now. Thanks for trying to find a solution!
if you are deleting you history that happens or if somone else is on at the same time on your account and logs off then you will also get logged off.
I was deleting my cookies as a solution to the problem. It wasn't the cause. And no one else uses this account.
sometimes i log in on ie by accident and dont logout so then when i try to login from mf it doesent work because i am currentally logged in on ie...
ok I think what happened was.. a few people were having this login problem because one of the cookie settings was set incorrectly. So I've corrected it yesterday and now 4x more people had the problem. But I think they just have the problem because their browser is still trying to use the old cookies. So if you just do what skip said and clear your cookies, the problem should go away. Post here if you have this problem any more after clearing cookies on your browser.
I'm still getting logged out every now and then even after clearing my cookies. In IE I can't log in at all - as soon as I log in and go back to the board index, I'm logged out again. I'll keep trying to fix it in case it's an issue on my end, though.
Yeah, as said above... It often helps to try to change browsers. It works for me... Most of the time anyways.
