The violence would have been thrilling if the characters looked older, but it's a little off when the characters are still rather young (or they're supposed to be, anyway)...
In the comics, they're younger. I think the film-makers were trying to change as little as possible. Actually, I think Hit-Girl is about the right age (11).
The little girl was so brave lol, even outside of the movie, she was doing these violent scenes, so young ;-; I never read the comic before(didn't know theres one anyways) Is the comic better? Uh.. not as violent maybe? I might want to read it :3
The comics are more violent and inappropriate. They're also less, err, "upbeat". The plot is similar, but very different to. It's kind of a different story.
Oh, well so much for reading the comic now xD Was the ending the same? Is kinda sad that big daddy died, I wanted that teenage noob to die instead of those actual 'professional superheroes'
