Re: Lenny Conundrum - Answers and for those who don't feel like adding up all those numbers, the answers are Skeith and Kyrii (just omit the "and" when you submit your answer)
Re: Lenny Conundrum - Answers Thanks for the answer. how long does it have to take to get a mail from tnt?
Re: Lenny Conundrum - Answers Hmm, i dunno if i ommited the and when i entered answer (quite awhile ago) i suppose ill find out in a day though...
Re: Lenny Conundrum - Answers Dear yon, Congratulations! You have guessed correctly in the Lenny Conundrum game (round 241). You have won 652 NP! Because you were in the first 250 to guess correctly, you also have been awarded a Amulet of Life, and receive a trophy and the Lenny Conundrum avatar! Yours Sincerely, The Neopets Team! 14/17 lc won =D
Re: Lenny Conundrum - Answers I didn't get a trophy Please do not spam. This topic is for discussing the conundrum answers.- lazypando
Re: Lenny Conundrum - Answers It should be rather easy. All you really need to find out is the side lengths of the red area. EDIT: I came up with 400. Not sure if that is correct.
Re: Lenny Conundrum - Answers So does anyone know the answer to round 242, on the 06/12/07? (Australian date so American it would be 12/06/07 i think!)
Re: Lenny Conundrum - Answers Sorry for the late answer. I had Nutcracker rehearsal until 9 this evening.
Re: Lenny Conundrum - Answers This kind of math makes my head explode. Thanks lazy pando for working that out for us! hopefully I was one of the first 250 to put in an answer
Re: Lenny Conundrum - Answers well... in fact, there was an even easier way if you knew a little secret. the ratio between the length of one leg of the triangle to the length of one of the sides of the pentagon is phi (aka, 1.618, the golden number ) so, with the simple formulae of the area of the pentagon, that magic number, the area of a triangle, AND Pythagorean theorem, you can solve the equation. just a lil tidbit of info
Re: Lenny Conundrum - Answers hmm that's really interesting True, it would have been easier but not by that much. You'd just be using pythagorean theorem instead of trig. And you'd still have to use trig to find the exact length of a side of the pentagon (unless there's a more accurate formula I don't know about-which there probably is).
