    Suppose you have the following sequence of numbers:

    3, 5, 15, 16, 38, 26, 29, 41,...

    What do you get when you multiply the next two numbers in the sequence together?

    49*40=1960

    I can't believe that it took me this long to figure it out when I have over 100 places in this stupid infinite number committed to memory.
    Anyways, go, go, go, go, go and you should still be able to get in the top 250. :)

    Suppose you have several coloured balls.

    Two of the balls are red, and have the letters B and E on them.

    Two of the balls are green, and have the letters M and R on them.

    Two of the balls are orange, and have the letters A and E on them.

    What letters are on the blue-coloured balls? Please list the letters with no spaces or punctuation in between, and sort the letters in reverse alphabetical order. For example, "ZY" would be an acceptable submission.


    "NML" is the answer.
    Open up a game of "Attack of the Marblemen" and you'll see why.

    Basically what is a cylinder?...is a rectangle wrapped up.
    The string goes from corner to corner of the rectangle. So then you just have to use Pythagoras's theorem to solve. The rectangle width is 16*pi*13 since the string goes around 16 times and the hypotenuse is 2300.

    sorry guys...this was by far the easiest LC I've ever seen...but I forgot LC came out today until just now...so I'm about 1 hour late T____T

    edit: haha...GG only got it 10 minutes before me (I figure that's where most people see it since they have a ton of leachers)...but still this was incredibly easy...so who knows if the trophy is still up for grabs

    I so did not understand what they were talking about
    I'm guessing a morning is a half day and an evening is another half day and together they make a day...so one day would be 2 mornings, 2 evenings, or 1 morning and 1 evening....D:

    She worked a total of 14 days.
    This totals the day and night shift since she cannot work on both.
    DayWork + NightWork=14 days

    There were 15 mornings and 17 evenings where she did not work.
    Thre were 2 more work shifts on mornings than evenings.
    DayWork + 2 days=NightWork

    We can say that:
    Daywork=8 days NightWork=6 days (since DayWork + NightWork=14 days)

    Total of Mornings = Daywork + DayNoWork = 8+15 = 23 days
    Total of Nights = Nightwork + NightNoWork=6+17=23 days

    So, she was there for 23 days/23 nights or just 23 whole day

    I just wasn't sure what one day of work meant...whether it was just 1 morning...or 2 mornings

    but all answers seem to lead to 23. Might be correct then.
    I submitted that answer.
    You should really give credit for copying from other websites though.

    But that answer has been proven wrong.

    DayWork + 2 days=NightWork

    We can say that:
    Daywork=8 days NightWork=6 day

    8+2=6

    according to that answer, which is incorrect. :(

    So. It's like this:

    the shelf/chord (c) = 138
    the height b/w circ and chord (m) = 32cm - sq root of 2.5 = 30.4188
    there's loads of formulas for finding radius based on chord and chord height, look em up, but you'll get 93.46.

    circumference = 2*93.46 * pi = 587.27

    587.27 * 2.5 = 1468cm = volume of hoop

    since we all d=m/v, 7.85=m/1468
    m=11525.17->11525

    tell me if i made any mistakes.

    Roxton Colchester has 4967 coins.     Pretty sure the answer is 14 ... I can't come up with anything less.

    EDIT: A friend of mine was able to get 13. Your choice, I'm not 100% sure on my answer nor do I have the desire to go back and figure out/calculate if 13 was possible. So let me apologize in advance if 14 is incorrect.

    Close, but not quite. replace the last pouch (1x968) with 1 more pouch each of the 1 through 500 coin pouches along with an extra 1 coin (or 2 coin, doesnt matter) pouch. Answer should be 26 pouches.

    I myself haven't done any calculations and I can't copy-paste any calculations made by others.

    Seems like having a large number of neopets cheating forums helps!
