Okay... so I don't know if this is right but I gave it a shot. X = Room Length Y = Bathroom Length X-Y = 9 X*Y = 12 Switch it up a little and you get X = 9+Y Y(9+Y) = 12 Keep going with the bottom equation to get Y^2 + 9Y - 12 = 0 [So Y=1.1789083458] Then use Y to get X X-1.1789083458=9 X=10.17890835 Now to get the areas... Y squared = 1.389824888 = Area of Bathroom X squared = 103.6101751 = Area of Room Add them together... Answer = 105

NEW PROBLEM. Faerieland is a wonderful world that rests on magical clouds that float over Neopia. (Well, at least, they used to float over Neopia...) These clouds are made of a special magical lightweight polymer material that supports the weight of the world on top of it. The clouds weigh 63.4 kilograms per cubic metre. And the cloud is a massive hemisphere, 3450 metres in diameter. Also, assume all of the buildings, faeries, and other objects on top of the cloud weigh 750,000 kg. If one faerie's magic can cause 123,456 kg of weight to float in the sky, how many faeries are required to keep all of Faerieland floating? Disregard any buoyancy effect from the surrounding air, and be sure to round up to the nearest whole number. B) Help Needed

Suppose there's a cannon placed at the base of Terror Mountain. We tilt the cannon at a 45-degree angle, in the direction of the top of the mountain, and fire the 6-kg cannonball. The cannonball exits the cannon at a velocity of 300 metres per second. Terror Mountain rises at a slope of 30 degrees. Assuming that gravitational acceleration is 9.8 metres per second per second, and disregarding air resistance and the height of the cannon (in other words, assume the cannon opening is at elevation zero), and at what elevation, in metres, will the cannonball strike the side of the mountain? Please round to the nearest metre, and submit only a number with no other information. I think that the answer is 2241 but I am not entirely sure.
I've seen a few people get the answer 2241, and ive seen a few get 702 so either of them could be possibilities...i put in 702 just cuz it was the first answer out, which makes me think 2241 is probably the right one
First two words of every sentence are in the sequence. Next after "Indeed, the", is speculation regarding. So the answer is: Speculation regarding not my own work :3
