Mac vs. PC. Your thoughts?

I like my mac except for one thing. I can't download anything on it. Games. Programs. They won't work on my computer. I'd rather have a new PC than my mac. But macs are decent computers.

 

I love Windows all the way. PC Lots of downloads.
However, the only great thing about a MAC is that they dont got virus :/

 

I'd prefer PC over MAC only because I've been using PC all my life. It'd be weird if I start using MAC.

 

I went to the Apple store yesterday, but the only thing I like about Apples is their design and simplicity. Other than that, I would have to go with PC.

 

i do like mac computers but i feel that they are over priced

 

honestly the versatility of a PC > than anything a mac can do. The hardware is the same.... But running .exe's is priceless.

MacBooks are better, without question. if you prefer windows, you can run windows on it... best of both worlds. microsoft can't do that....

yes, Mac's are overpriced. i know that because i shelled out for a macbook pro. haven't looked back, but i agree it could be a little cheaper.

anyone who says pc is better than mac has never had a mac (or at least given it a chance)

 

Personally I prefer PC just because I feel as though it's a lot easier to navigate though

I personally don't like Mac computers for the sole purpose that they annoy me and I can't figure them out.

 

If you need user friendly (and I mean confusing user friendly) software and want a cool looking notebook or tower, go with apple. If you prefer OS customization (considering you know a little about Windows OS,) go with Windows. Then if you're a relic like I am you throw a little Linux in there.

 

Even though I have dual boot I still only ever go on my Windows OS x)

 

PC because I've been using it for all my life. I would go with MAC in the future if I get use to its feature or maybe just for school.

 

I would say Mac for work and PC for games. Since Mac is relatively new compared to PC, there is not a lot of virus for the system making it very user friend. On the other hand, PC is good for games as it is an older than mac in which case most coding for games are compatible to pc

 

I hear people say that since macs comes out with a new OS like every 6 months for 20 dollars it is better because Windows it is like $128 but it comes out ranging from 2 years - 5 years so 20 x 5 = $200 for 5 years of mac upgrades while for a Windows upgrade it is $128 for 2 - 5 years. With mac you are paying $20 for little upgrades. Probably mostly updates with windows you get for free.

 

I know macs are expensive, but in my experience they also last longer.. All my windows/pcs I've been dissapointed with. So I went with a macbook pro. And I absolutely love it. I don't use many programs, so it's not really an issue for me. Only the neopets cheating part, but I just stopped XD I also love Apples design <3 I would never go back to PC
