I dont really understand how malling makes money. Do you overprice items and people buy them cause its more convenient to look them up in a mall or something?
As bad as it sounds, you rip people off. Particularly new players. Even more particularly, new kids. For example, if somebody wants to buy their pet toys, but doesn't know of any lists of toys, they might click the "marketplace" tab, and then start browsing around. A big source of revenue is with faerie quest items -- players who know about the shop wizard, but not about the quest help board, might venture into the marketplace looking for quest items. Actually, even I do that sometimes when I'm too lazy to ask for help on the neoboards (but want the cheap stat point... even if it means paying 2000 np instead of 500, it's still cheaper and easier than training).
pssh people love drama this is actually really interesting hally =P i never knew people moved around so much
Lines like that are like meth-level addiction. I know they are cliche, but there is a reason they are cliche. they work. I'm ready for the next installment already. xD Maybe he likes to switch it up a little? I guess hally likes a change now and then.
OOo makes me think about the mall thing again... maybe when I have more time ^^ still looking forward to the chapters to follow
