I gotta say, if I was willing to take the time to go and edit my siggy, I'd probably include this in it! Upon further pondering, I have come to the realization that no one knows when the world will end, so they kinda just plopped the calendar year of 2012 into a image editing program (photoshop, etc) and applied a Gausian Blur. That was my bad metaphor saying that people are just smudging around a bunch of myths
nu wai. The major shopping mall is finished in 2012. I am not dying till i shop there first. > Besides what them think it's 2012? It could be in one year, one day or one century.
Is this 'major shopping mall' a local thing or literally the world's biggest mall? Also, I hear there are a bunch of reasons to believe in 2012, but I first heard of the Mayan calendar. After successfully predicting all this solar occurrences and the weather pattern for 1000 years, there calendar just stopped at 2012, and didn't go on.
I don't believe this. Also, on the last day of 1999 people were also saying the world would end. Well, you know what happened. Nothing
Yup, no one knows when the world is gunna end. People that worry about that stuff just waste their lives/time
The world would have ended, I assure you! But, Microsoft came along and saved the world by updating the calendars on their computer... I don't think many thought the world was gonna end, but rather go into chaos and anarchy. At least, I believe that the belief the world will end came from the people who thought this way.
Just a local thing haha. You can't stop a girl from shopping XD And esp. me. haha well that is a it absurd if you ask me. They could be loads of reasons why they didn't continue after 2012. perhaps the ink was gone so they couldn't finish the writing. Or perhaps in the ones who wrote the calender died when they wanted to write 2012.
For sure not ink, as it was all in tablets. I thought the same thing, actually. It seemed like a logical place to stop, for Mid-December is the start of winter and a new year for them. I also came up with tons of other ideas, often revolving around 'they were bored' I agree, balogna in my mind
def dont believe all this end of the world nonsense. wasnt the world supposed to end in 2000? or something like that? it was all lies. people say that the 2012 thing is based on the mayan calendar or something but really...wth do the mayans know?
Society give certain days as 'The end of the world' in order for people to appreciate what they have accomplished and their lives and to treat each day like there is not tomorrow, in my thoughts I do believe there is an end to the world, just not in our time.
Bah! Who reads the bible anyways. To me religion is different to every person, it's their own set of beliefs and morals. In the end when the word ends it will be because the elephants drank all the water from the aquifers.... Duh!
