    Although I think we call them fireplaces now xD But back then it was more used for cooking.

    and ancient? here, it's pretty modern to have a fireplace, and my god I love it : D sadly, it's at my parents house, and I only have radiators .. blehhhhhhhhh

    I was thinking the same thing.
    Ancient !!! Like everybody have a fireplace now...
    The purpose of those models are for heating a house tho, not for viewing pleasure.

    Some are pretty, for example, the one we have in our summer house looks preeeeeeeeeetty! But the one they my parents have at home is just.. Plain ugly ! :p

    Makotaru, you're so lovely :). How old are you? I'd say 21ish judging by your photo, but a bit older looking at your posts. This is the right way round. If you looked old in your photos and appeared young in your posts, it would mean that you'd be both stupid and ugly. Hm. Yes. Much better to be neither of those things.
