I didnt vote because of the whole electoral college thing... I didnt think it was worth the time.

But I knew Obama had it in the bag. We've had republican for the past 8 years and nothing went right. So people wanted a change. And no matter who the canidate was I think It would have been democrat.

    Im happy with that,

I live in Washington state on the west coast and it is highly democratic out here. But my family is from virginia and they are all red neck racist hillbillies. ( i know.. i talk crap about my own family)

But it is about time we had a democrat in the office again.

I think Obama faces a HUGE chalenge now. He is taking over presidency in the middle of a war, a depression, huge debt to other countries, huge hatred from other countries.

He's got his work cut out for him.

Only time will tell how it goes.

I don't think we can really say which of the candidates would have made a better president because we've never seen either of them run anything (unless you're from that state). In 4 years, then we'll be able to say either "Yes he was a good choice" or "Wow that was the crappiest decision ever". I think most people don't like him just because of his race and that's about the stupidest way to choose a president, as is choosing him JUST because of his race.

Obama won, now it's time to see if all you sh**talkers were right. Will he be a bad president?

We'll know in for years. :)

--I live in the South, and I'm reallllly tired of all these racial jokes about Obama. It's all stupid. Seriously people, if you're going to trash Obama, trash his policies, if anything.
