    Ultimate Frisbee.

All you need is a few people and a Frisbee. And if you get bored you can always just throw it around. Or go Frisbee Golfing - there is probably a course somewhere (a nearby college?)

why has nobody said good old fashioned running? like a good 5k race? not 5 miles although that is pretty short :) it sounds like it sucks but during a race the adrenaline starts pumping and you don't wanna lose and its actually pretty fun and it gets you fit really fast :) also after you try it you'll keep coming back to it :) just trust me :)

You could try, badminton is pretty fun and you could get a good work out. Also Dodgeball is a lot of fun im doing a charity even next friday for it. You could do a game of three v three. Or airsoft if you just want to into the woods and play like capture the flag type of game.

i agree with the squash. i don't play it much myself but it extremely fun, and is an intense workout. it isn't that expensive either. add in a 5k run here or there (already mentioned) and you should be getting in decent shape in no time.

also, depending on where you live, try out MMA. someone mentioned boxing and wrestling and karate (i think it was karate) but MMA is all of these combined plus brazilian jiu jitsu, kickboxing and so on. the best mma fighters are very good in many different disciplines and it is a great workout for all different types of muscles. plus in addition to regular cardio and weight lifting workouts, a lot of mma guys love to do some unorthodox workouts so you're always kept on your toes doing something different.

it;s probably much easier in america than in canada or the UK to find somewhere to train for this sport but there are gyms all over that do this kind of training.

If not, something that involves martial arts =)
