Once all entries are in, create a thread and poll
    and let the users vote?

MUCH fairer, just because people dont like 1 game/section doesnt mean there's isnt good.

And btw I like your writing :) Trés descriptive. But not so much so it swamps you.

On March 9th the giant journey for my friends, family and I began. The morning was rugged; everyone in the family woke up at around 5 am. We took turns taking warm, delightful showers and ate jagged textured frosted flakes for breakfast. Soon enough, we were on our way to the first milestone, the Peace Bridge and this would be the place that we would find our fellow travelers. In less then 10 minutes, everyone was assembled and the convoy was on the road.

After many lifeless hours of looking out the window, we finally halted for lunch in West Virginia. Around 3 in the afternoon, we were stopped by a grueling traffic jam. Luckily, we were beside magnificent, breathtaking mountains that took away some of the emptiness of the jam. We even drove through two of the mountains, which were enormous. The most superb event the day could bring was relaxing in the hotel. Our rest stop for the night was an Econo-Lodge in South Carolina. It was cold outside but the stars were gorgeous.

This day would be more enjoyable then the last because it was scorching in Georgia and Florida. After an enduring day and a lunch stop in the Sunshine State, we arrived at our lovely, expensive, rented estate on Anna Maria Island. All eleven kids raided the house like a pack of wolves. As we entered, we found a dizzy spiral staircase, a pool table, a pool and a load of beds. The first thing I did was cannon ball into the pool. After pulling myself out of the pool, I went to play Texas Hold ‘em. The next night we watched the action packed James Bond movie “Casino Royale”, after that I tied for first in poker and won $20.

The next day was our designated beach day, even though we went to the beach almost every day, we would stay longer this day. My friend Mel and I played an entertaining game of frisbee. Later, we all took turns going snorkeling; we found very fragile sand dollars seven feet underwater. I thought this was the highlight of the trip, but the worst part was accidentally ingesting gulps of salt water, and freezing in the cold water that makes you feel like a chilly Eskimo. We played a competitive and intense game of football on the beach. While waiting for gravity to pull down the ball, I felt the blazing sand blowing at my ankles. When sweat was streaming down everyone’s face, we barged into the blazing cool ocean. At the house a few of the kids my age played the strategic game of Risk.

This was now the second last day of our trip, and we spent the day at the beach and at our pool. Mostly we hung out at our pool playing mark-o polo and bounce the ball off Dylan’s head game. I didn’t mind mark-o polo but the other game wasn’t as fun for me as it was for the people playing it. While the annoying adults were at the beach, my brother Josh was the lifeguard. If we disobeyed his strict rules, such as throwing chairs in the pool or splashing the lifeguard, he would throw us in the pool. Of course we always disobeyed him because that was the fun thing to do.

We all knew that at one point we had to say good bye to our temporary home in Florida. We all know that we will do something great like this in years to come, maybe go to Cedar Point or Canada’s Wonderland. I could say for everyone that we had an astounding time and this memory is carved into our hearts.

If you want longer then read this.

Everyone has potential, but they either think they don't or are just to lazy to use it.
