hmmm, is there anyway to exploit neopets being down? it happens often enough to be a potential money maker, obviously auctions would be one way doing it making 'noob' bids on the off chance of the site going down.. but that's inefficient. I'm sure there are better ideas out there.. thoughts?

Nah that won't happen. Databases should be fine meaning that their data should be fine. Its more likely that there server just crashed from too many clients or something.
hey out of curiosity if they were note I said were beefing up security against autobuyers and people just doing random illegit stuff would they need to take down the site first. For example, if they were adding in a working GM detector would they need to take down the site first?
They won't do that elhoof lol, It's probably just a technical difficulty, and with labor day and all, it won't be up for a few more hours most likely.
