I have not seen anything about an equip limit so you cold probably equip 8 if you wanted

 

I got one of each of the new neggs equipped right now, they do the same damage with different icons, but the Darksplash Negg Bomb is prettier, to me anyway. and that matters lol

 

So the neggs are really one use?!
And 16 icons?! wow

 

Darksplash is 11-15 whereas swift darkfire is a guaranteed 15.. Correct me if I am wrong?

yea apparently the physical varies for darksplash....
which is kinda weird/sucky?

 

im still training a pet so I have a cheap 200k set haha, but not to much longer till my pet is max boost

 

So what are the differences in this and the old one?

 

There aren't really any significant updates other than visuals as of yet. There is some rubbish animations that everyone just skips.

Other than that a few things to note are:
-Battles now reward np and items (nerkmids and some r99s inc)
-Stealing steals a random weapon (not 1st slot)
-1p challengers no longer progress in difficulty instead there are 3 different toughness settings (this is being reviewed)

No stances at the moment..

 

Stances will return.
Abilities are being changed but nobody knows how at the moment.
They also changed the images for each icon and icons no longer stack in the combat log.
There is also a 750 boost

 

Kinda sucks I haven't seen any fixes since the opening to everyone...unless I've missed stuff?

Anyone have tips on how to be more efficient in battling? The lag is just a killer at the moment

 

What do you mean by efficient?

I guess the more icons you are dealing and the higher the str boost of your pet, the faster you will get kills. As it stands though, if you are playing for prizes then no particular opponent gives out better prizes really so you are best just taking someone you can kill in one hit and farming them until you hit your cap.

I tried to use the BD to fight the Lab Ray Scientist (just to get him to change my Korbat's gender back) but I couldn't equip any weapons. My computer hates me. T_T

 

You cannot equip from the inventory page just now. Did you try from the bd itself? And if so how about trying a different browser? FF works for me

 

what is with the bd right now? it says its closed or something. i heard it was in open beta (like this thread says) then right after that anything i try to equip on my pet says you cant equip that the bd is down atm so no point in trying to equip that. anybody know why its completely down right now? i really dont want a reset on pet stats i dread the idea of that being a possibillity.
