I would like to have a pet which is just a dot... Would probably name it Dotdot (What wired fantasys do I have?)
Who cares about pets I seriously don't care what pet I have, whether it's the most beautiful creature ever drawn or just a dot, like Freya suggested. I didn't think many people actually played Neopets because of the pets.
I think pets are a part of the game :} it's fun to save up money to spend on your pets to make them amazing - pets are mainly the first thing I look at when I check out an account - it may just be me. And I hated that they redrew the pets. ALL the unconverted pets look better than the ones we have now IMO. So it would be awesome with new colours that made them look different. I hate the nc mall anyway, the only thing I like is the backgrounds. And as far as I know, you dont need a converted pet to put backgrounds on them .
I dont check it out at first though D: And i agree with you with pets are part of the game. On the Nc mall, there is this neoboard pen which is also quite interesting to have. Clothes and other backgrounds can be bought with Np. So you can dress your pet up without paying xD
Mm, I think Usuls (minus Desert and Mutant) improved with the redraw, and I like the redrawn Draiks more. (Oh, and Acaras. I hated the old acaras.) Most of the other species, though...eep. And a lot of paint brush colors have been killed by the redraw. (As have pet emotions...now they just have a slight change in facial expression. :/)
I agree I look at pets first to see what kind of account it is and get a feel for the user. A lot can be gathered from a user's selection of pets. Also I enjoy Neopets, so I like looking at the pets, people's shops, my own shop, I love looking at screenies, and if they have a good petpage occasionally I take a gander at that as well. I do dislike the redraws though they made my 2 favorite pets( Plushie Draik and Shoyru ) look hideous.. And no you can put a background and even some trinkets on a UC pet. Just can't put any clothes on them As for the NeoBoard pens I have 2 and am looking to get a third I think they're amazing, the extra room they allow helps out a lot as I chat on the boards... a lot.

Yes they give you 30 more characters to place in your main font and signature. So you can create more complex/unique fonts for the NeoBoards and you also get an added 100 characters to your posts on the NeoBoards. They allow you to preset what avvie you want to use with which font so you can change in between rather quickly. ^^It looks like that on the boards^^

I think that there's only the green one and you can just buy more than one of them and set and label them yourself. I just went on and searched the NC Mall when you asked, (because I had no idea either, haha) and the green one's the only one that came up.
Yes it only comes in green. And you name them, set up the avatar and the font for each. And you can have as many as you want. My friend has over 100... don't ask why please
