Laptop DEFINATELY. Its much more organised by sorting notes according to different lessons and also its much more readable then rushed handwriting, unless your laptop is one that takes ages to load and stuff, use a laptop.
Isn't that the truth. I hate typing on laptops period, but I assume there are some that are better than others.
And also, I don't know about you, but my hand starts KILLING me after writing about a page or so quickly.
I've been in college for two years and prefer taking notes by hand...laptops distract you and when you write things down and hear them at the same time it helps you remember them better...or so I've heard. Plus lugging your laptop around to every class kinda sucks. Notebooks are the way to go.
Really, if you are on a budget and everything, buy a 300$ laptop and be done with it.. Honestly it'll last you the 4 years if you take care of it and you'll save at least 300$ in pencils, pens, paper, and all that. Plus, lets admit it, you can play games in class.
This is my second year in college and I have found that taking notes by hand, then typing them up along with looking what the professor posts online gets most of the information. Only doing one or the other almost guarantees that something important will be left out eventually.
depends, if you are a fast typer. but personally, notes by hand is the best. YES YES YES, keep record is the best using laptop. but human brain's recognise things when you actually write. as you write, you read that how most of us learned when young. you can always do EXtra work, to retype your note in class in the your laptop. besides, most of uni these they, have a class note b4 hand be you go in anyway right? i'm not sure if your uni have them. but i dont really actually need to write much in class
i would prefer a laptop, seems more organized and you can still do other stuff using the laptop, other than just taking notes
i may not be in college and still have 3 years until i leave including this year but definitely one of those laptops that you can turn into a notepad and if you find the professor is going to fast or the carpel tunnel is finally catching up to you just flip the screen up and start typing... that'd just be my opinion... that is, only if you have like $500+ to spend on a laptop and stylus replacements if you lose them a lot
Im in college right now, laptops are the way to go. Lets face it, some of the lectures can be worthless so its nice to be able to play neopets while listening to them.
Going with the majority of people and saying take a laptop and try to get a tablet to do diagrams etc. or just take a notepad to the lectures and then type up a neat permanent version on the laptop, that way you dont have piles of paper which can be lost or unorganized.
