ya i guess so, but im sure at some point lol sounded weird...the only reason the others sound weird is b/c they are new...and lol was new at one point too...but if lol keeps it up people are gonna start using it in a normal person to person convo...yes i've heard it happen a few times....then maybe they will add it to the dictionary or somthing...

 

I don't really laugh out loud, but I laugh on the inside - I guess LOTI never really caught on.

One time I chortled....but I think it would have worked out better if I were fatter.

 

i only do lol when i laugh out loud, like sometimes i watch my sister when shes on msn and shes like LOL and she doesnt even smile or anything, i just type haha when i find something funny

 

well i'm pretty sure everyone understands that no one laughs out loud when they say lol they just find it amusing..so therefore even tho it means laugh out loud its understood as something different so there should be no problem its easily known why change?

LOL for me counts as different things.

1. I use it when im truly laughing, giggling, or amused
2. Its a filler, when i have nothing better to say or dont know what to say at all

LOL for me is a bad habit ..

 

i dont really laugh when i say lol i sometimes laugh but not all the time.instead i just say haha or something like that.
