    US is after global leadership, they just want to be left alone. Is it really a coincidence that all the "enemies of freedom" have high production of fossil fuels? ;) Ask the libians about it right now...

    no, i think what it is is that they are all in the middle east, so geographically, they are sitting on more oil than most countries. They don't seem to have as strong of an economy overall; they depend on the production of fossil fuels. The United States has the ability to produce more fossil fuels than they do, but we don't need to, thus, we are saving it. So i am not seeing the link between the "enemies of freedom" and production of fossil fuels except geographically
