Yea, indeed, sooner or later you'll have a job. And sooner or later you will be working at a full time job to support your family..
Workin Theres hardly any jobs over here in New Zealand. So i have to do seasonal work. Right now its kiwifruit season so since the work isnt really that hard to do ppl aged 14-16 can get a job easy as.
Lol I wish I lived with my mom still, free room and board.. free food... free laundry... /sigh.. those were the days.. lol
Yes, these are days. Even though, I clearly should be out on my own by now. -laughs- I found my current job with the help of my ex's mother to be honest. She'd heard about the new store opening in the town (she's a highschool teacher). They had applications at the highschool and she brought me one. I filled it out and went to the open interviews. Was hired on the spot.
I still get free room and board at 16. I intend to work at a local store or something this summer I need to investigate this 8)
As far as I know, in my country most kids get part-time jobs at 14-16 years old because of the experience or because of the need to pay telephone bills, lol. I got mine at 15 for experience. It wasn't really part-time until a month later, since it was only for 2 weeks and I wasn't paid as part of the attachment. One month later I was working in the same hotel in a different department. Nice touring the hotel and nicking un-served food. btboy5 - Please don't gravedig - Marlene
