I agree with what he said in a way though.. Unless you are a surgeon or something, why should you be making so much money? Athletes shouldn't be making $10m a year. Defense lawyers, people who try and keep murderers and rapists out of jail are making ridiculous amounts while the people who bust their balls every day to keep the economy running get stiffed, it's brutal. Thats the way the world is though, oh well.
Should have been more clear with what I said, but as pointed out by mferrari, that's practicly what I'm saying. But not just that. Take a look at Bill Gates and Opreh Winfury, or however you spell her name. They do so much charity work, Bill has given up his role at Microsoft, and has made it clear 99% of his wealth is going to charity. National Lotterys also, people don't need 11m wins, they're probly living off 20k a year as it is, 1m should see them sorted, and if they waste that 1m they damn well better go back to struggling on 20k a year. Football players in EU, 200k a week. A football player from Russia joined a team from England, I'll make up some numbers here to help get my point accross. He was earning say, 50k a week in Russia, and joined England football team for 100k a weak, but because he now has to pay tax, he was earning less than what he was in Russia, say, 40k a week now. But he complains, oh dear. As if 40,000 British Pounds PER WEEK isn't enough. Like I said, call it what you like. But nobody needs so much money they don't know what to do with it or have nothing to do with it.
Athletes are paid what they're worth. As long as people keep going to games and endorsement opportunities are offered, they are going to continue making the money the make. You can't really say they don't deserve it or it's too much because people value what they're doing. Same thing goes for entertainers. It's just the way it is. Plus, who's to say they don't know what to do with their money? You don't live their lives. And as for lottery winners, the government's already taking about half of their winnings, so why not let them have the rest? If they're lucky enough to win, they deserve it. I'd be upset too if I thought I was going to make more money and then ended up with less...regardless of the amount. That 10k a week is 40k a month, which is almost a half million a year. I'd definitely regret my decision. I just don't get the hostility towards the wealthy. Like it's their fault you're poor...lol
People that epic spam. I also hate people who back stab, like when they sell me out to clear their own names . :| Edited out the rudeness. You're welcome.
Yeah look at Cristiano Ronaldo the football player.. he makes 150,000 euros a week LOL.. i read he spent $20,000 on bottle service in a Los Angeles club on his vacation and got a piece of Paris Hilton.. now thats the life.. I think we are all more jealous than anything.
Lets see... Bad Drivers Ignorant people Noisy when it's suppose to be quite >.< Losing to someone else in a game lol Slurping food or drink sound .... I'm sure I could go on, but then you would find out there is nothing that doesn't annoy me hehehe =P ~Parisdirt
This is going to sound kind of nerdy, but people that just can't spell. And I mean epically fail at it. Though I really REALLY dislike when people mix up "your" and "you're" >> 'Cause I'm just white & nerdy.
I get annoyed by that too, but I spell other words horribly wrong, so i guess i shouldn't say anything in the first place. :maha:
I NEVER understood how people can't distinguish between 'your' and 'you're' one of them is YOU ARE, how is that anything like your????? Yeah definitely a peeve.
Ooo totally agree with the your and you're mix ups being a pet peeve...along with its, it's, they're, there, and their. Actually, poor grammargrinds my gears. My parents' first language isn't even English, and they have better grammar than probably 90% of the nation. It's obnoxious, and not learning it in school isn't even an excuse. Nothing's stopping you from picking up a book and trying to, uhhh, not be such an idiot. I call shenanigans. I'm sure even the crappiest grammar schools teach their students the contraction/possession rules.
They do but then you have people like me who just doesn't pay attention and sucks at grammar as well as spelling. (Is thankful for spell checker in fire fox) but I always use "your" It isn't often you will see me use "you're" maybe its being lazy that and the use of there, their and they're I usually just stick to "there" spelling Yeah I just tend to be lazy
People who don't take good care of their things like crumpling papers and stuff. I like to keep my papers smooth
people taht ask the stupidest questions over and over again are we there yet? how long are u gonna take? when is the test when he alrdy told u 3 secodns ago arg it annoys me so much! >
Things that annoy me: *people who txt while talking to me *Little kids on Neopets that ask for stuff *people that say "anyways" at the end of every sentence *my extremely slow computer *my terrible phone service
