This is Jokerman here, and I'm posting my first guide. :) It's about single point perspective. :)

    so lets begin... :D

    What is Perspective?
"Perspective (from Latin perspicere, to see through) in the graphic arts, such as drawing, is an approximate representation, on a flat surface (such as paper), of an image as it is seen by the eye. The two most characteristic features of perspective are that objects are drawn:

    * Smaller as their distance from the observer increases
    * Foreshortened: the size of an object's dimensions along the line of sight are relatively shorter than dimensions across the line of sight"

    Credit~ Wikipedia.

Basically, that's what perspective it- objects closer to you appear larger than those behind it. :) Simple, eh? but I find many new artists not using perspective in their drawings.

I'll probably do a guide on 2,3 & 4 point perspective next. And Maybe curved perspective afterward.

(sorry for the huge images. :p)

btw, the images are self explanatory. If you are still confused then I'll explain further. :)

(this tutorial is divided into parts, since it is quite big. :p

If the images are too large for you, then you can zoom out by pressing (Ctrl & - ).

    THE BASICS-

Step 1: Think of what you want to draw. To begin with, you'd want to draw cubical/cuboid resembling things since their edges are straight.
In this tutorial, I'll be drawing the Batmobile.

    BASIC COLORING-

    Step 1-

I meant to say- "and roughly color in the picture." I have a habit of saying things in my mind while I believe I'm typing it out :p
