    The latest ones had the most stuff. Although people may deny this I tried playing others after them, and I found them lacking alot.

    I like Blue, Yellow, Silver and most of all Crystal. All the other pokemon versions I never even thought of buying since I only have Gameboy color.

    Gotta go with the originl straight up. Red (+ blue and yellow) is my fav and I haven't really played any other except gold. Old school is best =).

    Pokemon Blue is my favorite. Everyone was into pokemon when it came out. Battling against each other on school etc. Fun times :)

    slowpoke is by far the greatest pokemon ever. gold and silver were the best pokemon games - though i havent played the ds ones yet.

    my favs are gold and silver because i had a complete new set of pokemon to catch plus the original and they introduced a whole new set of ideas for the games and not only that...Marill was in it and i love Marill...he is one of my favorite pokemon along with Mew and Pikachu and uh...tons of others...the others are great games...but i played these versions more...i own all the pokemon games...

    blue and red are the best as they were the originals
    gold and silver were really good also (and maybe the best) but i think the originals have to win
