Wars are just part of the plots.. I don't think they're that bad.. And you can invest in em', so why not? XD

how can you go wrong with the commercialisation of a war? everyone wins! personally im stocking up on codestones...and hopefully i will be ready to fight some too, so that i can make something off of it.

The more points you get, the better the trophy and stuff you get once the war's over, I think..
So might as well train now to get ready.

    ...I think we're going way out of topic. 8D;

Codestones don't inflate as much during a war anymore. Healing potions don't have much profit. The best is HP, which inflates 500k+. If you're going to stock up, stock up on popular bd weapons, like HP, SC, HoD, RS, etc. HT items never really inflate, for obvious reasons, unless they're retired.

Blue Scortchstones were tarla'd, and really dropped. they are just making there way back to what they should be. any tarla items are a pretty good investment, and the sooner you hoard them after the giveaway, the better, they get bought up pretty cheap.

Other great items to invest in are retired/advent stamps and books. I've made millions on them on my main. bit of a longer term investment, but they will always go up in value.

    lawl, nubs :p
the smartest thing to buy right now is MSPP (TCG).
not too long ago they were 40m. then 50, 60, 70, 80, 90, and have now occasionally have been spotted for 100-110m!

There's NO chance of these deflating. You get them from the TCG codes, and no one actually will spend tons of money on worthless crud, that you only have about a .01% chance of getting a MSPP. I did get a Chokato TCG from one a looong time ago, but they were only worth 100k then :p

Yeah great tip, but I'm not really sure how many users have 110 NP sitting around :S

I think he was looking for more realistic advice ;)

Yeah seriously, I don't know about you all but I certainly don't have 110m sitting around to buy up TCG cards, especially more than ONE.

I believe so :S. Some people play a lot, and if you're good enough, you can earn a lot from rsing, auction sniping, or reselling. Especially the former.
Meh, my computer is too stinky to do any of that :(. I do a bit of reselling though :)

As for things that inflate, i dont know what you SHOULD invest in, but you should keep away from low end BD items (10 iconers and such) because TNT keeps releasing new ones as plot prizes.

If you're planning on staying on neopets during this time, maybe try the stockmarket? You can't lose anything (except in rare circumstances)

lol, inflation is wonderful, but dont count on it to earn nps for you, unless you're buying an uber expensive item.

Sometimes things deflate too :(. Even during wars
