First, please try not to gravedig, since the last post was in December 2010. And anything in the Magic shop is going to have a higher freeze rate. As for this, I don't think you can really get iced for it, but it is actually hard to get items because there are so many people ABing, legit restocking, and even semi-legit here.
Sorry I did not know I was gravedigging. I have tried this on magic shop and could not grab anything xD. I have now moved to book store.

Is it really potentially faster? Isn't the ab'er reading automatically? I would like to try this - but from the other posts - it doesn't seem like you would beat the auto buyers. Any feedback on the success rate of the high end items?
I can beat autobuyers on a common occurrence. I only really RS magic and get a couple of mp's a day, a lot more if I do not get pet lag. the problem with an AB'er is the refresh rate, you cannot have a rate of every 2secs as it is suspicious though with manual you can go as fast as you want really! With this method when the shop restocks you see an image and click it, very little delay there Also I refresh manually, I do not use an auto as that just adds to freeze rate and there is no need for it!
I've wondered about this. Why would that be the case? It is probably the buy speed of an AB'er, or the long periods of RS'ing.
They should change the refresh rates to x.xx seconds So if you set it to 2-3 seconds you will also get 2,14 seconds or 2,87 seconds and not only 2 seconds

thats not true, it's still possible to be frozen, but probably just a lower chance if you use it wisely
How much more advantageous is this over an autobuyer? I mean how likely is it that you will get frozen from an AB?
