Hey guys, I know, it's been a long time since I've last posted anything 'official' here... Don't worry, I haven't forgotten this community, and I hope you're all doing fine! I'm posting here to let you know there might be some downtime soon, as we're migrating to a different server. It shouldn't really take long, it's just a matter of transferring all the data to the new server, and during this time the board will be disabled. Don't worry though, after this operation the site will be back, working as usual! It may take some time until you all will be able to connect directly to the new server, so you might notice some slowness as you would still be connecting to the old machine. Anyway, in an about 48-hour time transfer information should have propagated all around the world, and the site should be running just fine. I hope this will not cause any problem Regards, ricky92
I transfered the MySQL database this morning (~10AM GMT+0) and it all went fine. There's just one step left, which is transfering the domain, and I will do it in the next few hours hopefully.
Server transfer went through successfully. It seems to work just fine (and the site, at least for me, loads faster). I hope you do not experience lag as the new server is located in Europe, but its connection should be good enough for everyone.
Seems fine - only problem I've found so far is me getting logged out for no reason. IT's happened twice now. EDIT: Seems like every time I leave the site it logs me out. Even with the "log me in automatically" box ticked. And my cookies don't automatically delete, nothing else has changed.
Okay, this problem should be fixed now, please check and tell me if it works Also, I seem to not be receiving mail from the board, can anyone confirm that?
Mail from the board? As in when someone posts you get an email about it? You can turn that on and off by subscribing this can't you? As for notification of PM's - that's not been working properly for me lately either.
